"Great hosts, great location"

Had an excellent stay. Nitz and Antz are great hosts with good local knowledge, and were helpful in booking scooters/tours etc. Extended stay by two nights

"Highly recommend!! Specially if you like the farm living!"

We had an amazing time at High Chaparral Cottages coz it feels like home away from home. We were treated like family and were very well looked after. We love that the place is like a farm with the animals just casually roaming around the property. We arrived way too early for check in and since our room is not available yet, they made sure we’ll get some rest at one of their private places with the view of the beach.. we appreciated the recommendations and good conversations with the couple who own the place!

"High chaperal"

Great location, very large room. Hot water shower. Though chalet not air conditioned, the fans kept the room at very pleasant temperature. Large verandah outside, with comfortable seats to enjoy the garden view..

"Mixed feelings… Some positives and some areas for improvement"

Location close to town, access via the beach (just keep in mind you will need to take your shoes off when high tide) Friendly atmosphere and warm welcome by the hosts

Had understood there was direct access to the beach which is not the case but not a great beach to stay at anyway. Also be aware of the presence of animals across the property (cow, goats, dogs, cats and many chickens). I love animals but just was not expecting a farm hence our disappointment. Recommendation to the hosts to fence the eating area and to prevent the cats to stay on the dining table when they are injured. Other recommendation to put a fan in the dining area to keep mosquitoes away. Final point is to make sure you have ear plugs unless you enjoy a nice 4am wake up call by the roosters!!
