Elegant, low-key yet chic, super personable hosting, adorable cuddly/friendly resident dog, perfect swimming pool, very generous breakfast, gorgeous rooms. The owners are very attentive and chill, you can tell they really care about perfecting this place and ensuring guests feel at home.

Nothing really! There are some super small details that could be ironed out (like the toilet cover not staying up or having no bathmats) but it is a new place and I can see that even as great as it already is they are constantly making improvements. So these are just some very tiny suggestions which can only bring it to perfection!

Elisabeth and Alex are lovely hosts and very hospitable. The bed was very comfortable and even without air conditioning we were comfortable to sleep at night with the fan. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay to the fullest! Elisabeth, Alex and the team went above and beyond to make you feel home. We specifically loved the great mixture of local flavor and contemporary design. The entire facility is well managed, rooms are perfectly clean and cozy. Big plus for the breakfast!

I stayed in this hotel for almost 2 weeks and had an amazing experience. Everything was perfect! The room was very comfortable and beautiful. The staff was very attentive and nice, and thanks a lot to Elizabeth, she always helped me if I had any problems or questions! She even took me to Nungwi village to the shop when I lost my charger and had to buy a new one :) And they serve the best breakfast - fresh juice, coffee/tea, a plate of fruits, pancakes, eggs in different variations, avocado toast, yoghurt and so on. Everything was delicious and I always was so full after breakfast. The location was perfect too, it takes around 7 mins to get to the beach. I would highly recommend this place for your vacation! And would definitely come back again :)

The hosts Elizabeth and Alex are the kindest hosts, as well as their adorable dog Scooby and the Maasai who works there. Elizabeth helped us with anything we needed, including ordering food from a nearby restaurant and ordering a taxi for our early flight. Breakfast is delicious and the property is very tastefully decorated and pleasant.

No big negatives, but worth noting that in Zanzibar it's normal that the properties are not fully soundproof (the neighbour's rooster has a lovely voice haha). Also, the bedding could be softer/more comfortable.

We really loved the place and the atmosphere that owners created here. Amazingly designed! Staff was very helpuful and friendly. Perfect place to relax by the pool or play Bao (local game) in the evening. Very testy breakfast.
