The room assigned to me has several issues: the window is broken, the bed is uneven, and the air conditioning is making a loud noise. I informed the management about these problems, but it seems they placed the blame on me. I requested to be moved to another room, but although there are available rooms, they are asking for an additional charge because the new room has its own bathroom. This situation seems unreasonable.

Did not stay . We were not welcome and we were not honored.

The receptionist gave us hard time . He kept checking our personal details for more than half an hour and eventually he informed us that the room we booked was rented and he asked us to cancel. We simply left and caught the nearest hotel to sleep.

The location is great and very close to the bustling night market. The price is reasonable and a very basic free breakfast is included.

I'm not sure whether or not this is typical in Laos but there was currency manipulation taking place at the reception of the hotel. There was a sign displaying "$1=23,000 Kip" when actually at the time of my stay $1 was more like 21,000 Kip. Some of the rooms have holes in the walls and were not too clean. There is free breakfast but it's basically just toast and instant coffee. The interior of the building is crumbling.
