Beautifully clean and welcoming cottage, with lovely extra touches of hospitality (eg. bread, butter, OJ, milk, tea & coffee). The spiral staircase is a lovely feature - (though note my other comments below if you're at all unsteady). The back garden was a perfect little private space, leading from my favourite room - downstairs kitchen/diner with sofa and table. I appreciated the clear, friendly, non-intrusive booking communication, and the warm, spacious accommodation. Altogether it was a really good base for exploring North Wales.

The ONLY thing I found a little more difficult was the spiral staircase. I love spiral staircases, so for me this would always be an incentive to book. However, although I'm able bodied I still felt I had to be extra careful on these. They were needed pretty much every time you moved between rooms, and took a lot of concentration. Even with great care I still took one little tumble on the bottom step. That's why I left a main light on at night - in case of needing to navigate these in an emergency. (I reckon a rail from the top floor would help reassure stability, strengthening of the top ones leading from main floor, and maybe some automatic nightlight plug-ins?)

The property had a lovely private sunny aspect area at the back, with good seating. Well appointed rooms.

Going down the staircases especially at nighttime

Ideal for everything we needed. Luke was great with all the info and made it very easy. Ona nice little street with 2 local pubs (both very friendly) and a very tasty Chinese restaurant
