It’s ok but a bit old.

The room was really comfy. had everything I needed. The staff on reception were really helpful.

The room was really cold. When I arrived (end of April) I was asked if I needed an extra blanket, I didn't realise the purpose of this until the following day. There is no air-conditioning (at least i could see or control) it's just chilly. I don't mind this over night as I like a cold room to sleep in but to hang out, watching TV etc or wash I found it colder than I would like.

I upgraded to a large king room with a balcony and terrace with amazing views of the city and mountains. The building itself is a beautiful old palazzo. Location is excellent, between the main plaza and San Blas. It was OK for a night.

Rooms are shabby and needing revitalization. The spirit of the place is a downer. Some staff are not very attentive or responsive. Breakfast was terrible.

Location and price/value ratio.

I had to update my review, because I learned that without my knowledge the staff of this hotel was very rude towards my girlfriend. Initially it wasn't planned that she would stay there, but she arrived very late. I left a bit earlier for a sightseeing trip and during my absence, considering that she was not registered, the staff accused her of being of certain profession that I don't feel comfortable mentioning here. I admit that it was my fault of not having her registered, but I think it was very rude and unprofessional to say these things to her. The update of the review comes rather late, considering that I didn't learn about it right away.

Location and staff were great.

I enjoyed my stay a lot thanks to amazing staff. Everyone I had to deal with was very helpful and kind. They organized a tour for me the night before. The tour was great. The hotel itself has a character and that's what I liked as well. It is not new and rooms could use a little upgrade but it's clean and convenient.

It can be a bit loud due to a "well"-like architecture when a lot of people talk in the common areas, so ask for a quieter accommodations if you're a light sleeper. WiFi wasn't very stable, but for me it wasn't a big issue.

The hotel is comfortable and well located. Great shower and comfortable bed - nothing fancy. Josep and Millie at reception were extremely helpful and welcoming. The price is right!

The rooms face into the lobby area and it can be noisy at night with people’ conversation. A little more variety at breakfast would be welcomed.
