Pondok Devana Kintamani

O quarto tem uma vista incrível e estava limpo e bastante confortável. Não há A/C mas tem uma ventoinha que arrefece. No entanto em junho apanhei noites frias e nem precisei de ligar. Bom pequeno almoço, apesar de simples, servido no quarto. O staff é muito disponível e simpático. Ajudou-me com a marcação do Jeep tour e também com um táxi que me fez deslocações.

Apesar de terem avisado várias vezes, o acesso ao hotel é bastante mais desgastante fisicamente do que eu achava que ia encontrar. Tenho boa forma física e ficava sempre ofegante nas subidas (muito íngreme e com muitos degraus). Não recomendo para pessoas sem excelente condição física, nem quem viaje com malas pesadas. Alguma dificuldade em regular a água quente (apesar da pressão do chuveiro muito boa).

Petit déjeuner local ( omelette toast fruits ) pas à notre goût mais ça peut plaire à d’autres Attention les chambres sont vraiment en contrebas , j’ai compté 138 marches pour notre chambre la plus en hauteur Selon mon téléphone 440m et l’equilavent de 16 étages ( comme on dit une belle vue ça se mérite )

Adorei o local, ter uma banheira no exterior é só espetacular, de sonho mesmo. meter agua quentinha e estar a ver as estrelas, de outro mundo. E a paisagens ao nascer do sol é de tirar a respiração, senti-me como num filme. O pequeno almoço é muito bom e as pessoas locais que nos recebem muito amaveis e atenciosas.

Há uma escadaria bem grande para subir e descer, mas eles avisam isso, o que é incrivel e vale super super apena subir e descer estas escadas, recomendo que vão de mochila porque mala de rodas realmente não funciona aqui.

Accès très fatiguant et non sécurisé

Het uitzicht tot 14.30. Let op als je dit boekt. Want iedere dag van het jaar is het vanaf ongeveer 14.30 compleet mistig en zie je echt niets meer van het mooie uitzicht. Dit is schijnbaar normaal voor deze omgeving. Accomodatie is trouwens schoon.

Dat het compleet mistig is romd 14.30 . En dat je om bij accomodatie te komen heeeel veel trappen moet lopen. Wij hebben een goede conditie. Maar dit vonden wij toch best een pittige workout.

The view was incredible, we read the reviews about the decent down to the villas so we were prepared for this. It’s a long way down with a lot of steep steps so only book this villa if you can manage steps and don’t take suitcases. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast was surprisingly really good. Super quiet and remote (only 3 bungalows and 1 bungalow for staff). Bathrooms were clean and gorgeous. Nights can be cold but they supplied extra blankets.

If anything a little bar fridge would help. No food down there and it’s a long way back up.

Plus points for location. Amazing views of the mountains and lake, the last rays of sunset and the fabulous sunrise make the £45 cost of the place seem cheap. That’s the end of the good bits

Wondered why they wanted to know exact time of arrival….someone had to be there to meet us to guide through the building site, then the 100m or so of a very steep down slope followed by 168 steep steps The room itself is dated and in need of modernisation so don’t believe the nice shiny pictures on booking.com Door handle broken, bathroom doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in months, dirty towels, marks on bedding and generally dirty, oh and a kettle that takes about 25 mins to boil Breakfast served to the balcony, some fruit with an omelette, chips and fried bread….very weird

The cabin the breakfast and the view was amazing absolutely loved our overnight stay. Most definitely stay again

Nothing that I didn’t like, we knew about all the stairs so that wasn’t a problem. We left 2 bags with the host family up the top and only had 2 small bags.
