NLHet is een zeer net en schoon huisje. Het uitzicht is adembenemend zo mooi! Het ontbijt is goed. Je zit hier wel wat meer tussen de lokale mensen m.b.t. locatie. Veel restaurants zijn op tijd gesloten.
Je moet wel een een kleine 5 tot 10 minuten naar beneden en naar boven lopen via een hele steile helling. Maar dat staat ook veelvuldig in de reviews. Dus je moet beetje fit zijn en niet slecht ter been. Ze willen wel graag helpen met bagage.
AUSpectacular sunrises from in & above the clouds. Each morning ( x3 ) was different, but glorious in it"s own way. 😲
More of a challenge than a dislike...the walk in & out with baggage should not be taken lightly. Particularly for the older person.Well worth the effort though.😯
GBViews are breathtaking. Having a bath whilst looking out to the mountains! If you are someone who doesn't want to get up at 3am for a hike/jeep but wants to experience the amazing sunrise in the area, this is a great way to do it! Room was super clean and the comfiest bed I've slept on in a long time! Run by kind people. Having a bath looking out to the mountains was incredible!
Room and breakfast is basic, you have to be prepared with everything you need. The walk down was absolutely fine for me but on the way up I had to take a few pauses. Worth it for the view and comfy bed. Bath water could be warmer.

CHAmazing sunrise, great delicious breakfast and lovely staff!
NLWhen we arrived, a staff member helped us with our bags. The view from the room is absolutely amazing. The room has all the basic amenities you need and is clean. The staff member who checked us in provided limited information, but he was friendly and available when needed. The breakfast is okay.
We had read in reviews and information that there are steps leading to the hotel, but we didn’t expect it to be this extensive. It takes about 10–12 minutes to walk to the rooms. The path is steep, and in some parts it’s just concrete without proper stairs. Going down is manageable, but going back up is quite challenging. So keep that in mind. A clothing rack would be a helpful addition for hanging wet clothes.

FRAUThe view is great over Mount Batur and the lake valley. The outdoor spa is quite special.
The cabins are down a very steep and narrow walking track with a 100 metres or so drop from the road and about 170 steps. Very difficult with luggage, and dangerous if wet. Cabins are basic.
