Redcot holiday bungalow

This is a property with a lot potential, the house is spacious, good furniture and a lovely garden. Location is really peaceful which is great for a family stay.

The state of cleanliness of the house was really regular. To me and my family this is an important aspect and I’m afraid the house wasn’t in the best condition which made our stay a bit uncomfortable.

Brilliant for a large group very well equipped

Bathroom in top bedroom not really possible to shower could only sit in bath & use shower head to wash hair

Good sized lounge and dining kitchen,. Plenty of seating, good range of pans and crockery.

Smell of damp, mould on ceiling in several rooms including bathroom and bedrooms. Several wardrobes not accessible for storing clothes (either locked or full). No cupboard space for food in kitchen. Sofa bed too small for an adult. Kitchen cooking trays were dirty, along with some knives and crockery. Double bed was narrow and quilt too small for two people.

The sensor light in the hallway kept going off during the whole of the night so didn't sleep too well at all, although the beds were comfy! There's a lot of furniture which makes the rooms look smaller than they actually are but thats just an opinion

Lovely property, plenty of rooms , big kitchen and living room

Dirty oven trays , sides hadn’t been wiped , bedside tables dirty . Just needed a more thorough clean than what it was

It was quite cold on our first night and we didn't have the ability to put the heating on, I sent a message to the owner via the Booking.com app didn't get a response

Dishwasher didn’t work Food debris and dirty cloths in the sink when we arrived. All kitchen surfaces needed wiping down before I started making dinner. Stains on carpets. Brambles had to be cut back to allow us to use outside space. Toaster hadn’t been cleaned since previous guests. No cafetiere or filter machine available. Pod machine but no pods seen. Hairs in shower and leg shavings left in bath. Light wouldn’t go off in one of the downstairs bedrooms. Multiple hazards outside, stacked up Paving slabs, fencing panels etc. Dead tree cut down and left in front garden, front garden covered in weeds. Nothing like the photo on the Booking. Com site. No fresh tea towel, oven glove or dish washing cloth left
