Norburton Hall Cottages

Great positioning for exploring the local area. Two local pubs within walking distance both of which doing good food and good local beers. Nice secure courtyard garden so didn't need to worry about the dog wandering of.Perfect 👍

Nothing to complain about

The cottage was excellent, just perfect and everything needed was provided. The courtyard garden was delightful. It was warm cosy and extremely comfortable.

Nothing difficult to improve on perfection.

We liked the super king four poster bed, comfortable mattress & high quality bed linens. Nice touches were the tea bags & biscuits, also the welcome bathroom basket of soap, shower cap etc., plenty of crockery in the kitchen. A quiet location, close to village & short drive to the beach. The owners were helpful & pleasant to deal with.

The oven had not been cleaned, we believe this was an oversight. There were quite a lot of cobwebs around the cottage, more than you would expect even in the country. The cottage needs some lace/net curtains as the main living room is badly overlooked by the entrance of a neighbouring holiday property, especially when occupants sit on the steps & smoke regularly. The shared courtyard is nicely kept with attractive flower beds & pots. Table chairs & parasol. However, the other visitors had four dogs so it just smelt of dog urine. After they left, the smell went quickly.

Location is idyllic.

easy access to sea , and I think (if I may be so bold) that owners could tell guests of the path to the sea over boulder and across river

Quiet location but a short walk down to Hive Beach through the village. Clean, bright and comfortable. Excellent hot shower.

Short a frying pan and would be great to have something you could connect to for streaming music.
