Varenna Caffè Apartment

The location is the best in Varenna and the views were incredible from the apartment. It was an unbelievable location; truly a gem of the city. The staff were friendly and very helpful and ensured we had a lovely stay. The apartment was adorable and felt like an extension of home as we adored the furnishings, art work, and overall vibe. Our stay was 100/10.

Literally nothing. If it were possible we would have stayed longer. My daughter is already teary eyed we have to leave not just Varenna but this apartment in particular, as it was everything we could have asked for and more.

Location was absolutely amazing. The apartment was even better in person and the view is breathtaking. Close walk to the ferry and local cafes, restuarants.

Host was friendly enough but busy with his cafe downstairs so appeared to be a little bit put out on arrival and departure in terms of helping us with our bags (which you need with the stairs) Would have been a nice touch to include breakfast at the cafe as an inclusion as the accommodation is expensive for what it is despite the location which is what you are paying for!

The location is simply perfect- right in the heart of town but with the added privacy we desired. Watching sunsets from the balcony with its stunningly amazing views was a highlight, as was the ease of ordering food and drinks from the cafe below. The restaurant found just up the alley from the front door was divine, with great service and quintessential views. The apartment is easily accessed, has all of the modern comforts we needed while still retaining the authentic charm of the area. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to the area- it is THE best location in Varenna and Andrea was a great host- meeting us for check in and answering any questions we had.

Great location and very kind and helpful people in restaurant downstairs

Would be expecting better service quality for the price we paid e.g., proper towels in the bathroom, clean shampoo/body gel etc. The place could use a refreshing of the decoration which is quite old fashioned and not very welcoming

The host Andrea was wonderful and very good communicator. The cafe downstairs is his, and was always available. Wonderful breakfast too. The location is perfect, coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake, was so nice! Highly recommend, even though pricy, worth it!!
