There was shimmer sponge, very dirty and totally run down.

The apartment was clean, central and comfortable with great views out the window.

The apartment was on the third floor with poorly lit stairs. Although a central location it was inconvenient to transport to and from the airport and has no where to leave luggage. Not a great apartment if you have luggage but otherwise it would have been great.

That the apartment had lots of space and a Kingsized bed Easy walk to Authors seat and wonderful views

A little dated especially bathroom- needing to Have window open whilst taking shower was a little weird! The stairs up to apartment were also dark and a little smelly!

It is a fabulous location for exploring Edinburgh. The flat is very clean and well kept with all the amenities you would expect with good city views. The Host left excellent and clear instructions on how to access the flat.

This may be more reflective of me but the single bed which I slept in was a bit soft for my personal taste ( am used to a fairly firm mattress) but am told by other family member that the double bed was amazing.

It had great views on both sides. Good home base in Edinburgh.

Needs updating - especially carpeting. Also, the hallway going up to the 3rd floor ,klooked very rough.

Location and views were fantastic. We could walk to most places. Light and airy.

Stairwell was dark and dirty. Apartment could do with a little freshen up - kitchen mainly. An instruction manual for the unit would help.

The access to the apartment via a dark, smelly and dirty staircase was not acceptable.

Location was good but not good enough to justify the price.

The hosts demanded that IDs were sent for all guests in the apartment but didn't give a valid reason why. They expected the IDs to be attached and sent via an email which is not secure at all. All they could offer as an explanation was a pretty poor privacy policy. Check in was also very late (16:00) and they could not provide info for earlier check in, despite multiple chase ups. The apartment itself is fine but not worth the price or the convoluted process of getting the check in info.

The property was lovely, and the location was amazing, great views! We walked everywhere and had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean and secure and you could tell the owners took pride in their place.

The stairway was a bit dark in the evening, which was not a problem for us but I would definitely recommend more light for safety reasons. Other than that, we have no complaints.

Amazing location, home from home comfort, would definitely recommend and would book again!
