Cregg Castle

It is a real haunted castle. If you really like to get some ‘ghost’ experience - just walk around the castle, especially around the back side.

The kitchen was not comfortable to use.

It could of been beautiful but seriously run down

Absolutely everything.....my mother has stage 4 lung disease and the rooms were cold bed clothes were damp cracks sellotaped on the windows. Windows were sealed shut and no fire exits no smoke alarms and a woman that has serious disability its a complete breach of regulations. We were due to stay Friday and Saturday but we left at 10am Saturday morning Does booking.com actually investigate this stuff before they advertise...it seriously shouldn't be let out as a guest house ....

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits. N'avons jamais croisé l'hôte. Ne vous attendez pas a un logement cosy et charmant.... On est ici dans un château non entretenu, avec une salle de bain dans son jus d'époque, comme tout le reste d'ailleurs. Le decor est parfait pour une soirée Halloween. Les tableaux au mur sont flippantes. Nous y étions avec deux enfants de 10ans, ils ont vraiment eu peur et si nous n'avions pas déjà payé on aurait fait demi tour direct. Si vous aimez l'originalité, foncez!

Los dueños son encantadores, el castillo es precioso, tiene cocina, las camas eran comodísimas y el baño no estaba mal. Volvería a alojarme en este lugar, es de cuento. Una maravilla.

La Habitación, las camas super cómodas, los espacios comunes y dos inquilinos felinos que nos acompañaron durante la estancia

Las salas no utilizadas mejor mantenerlas cerradas, sino te pierdes. Con un poco más de orden en la cocina y el pasillo que conduce a ella, ganaría mucho.

La struttura ha molte potenzialità ma al momento è al limite dell abitabilità .

Non c’è un insegna per trovare il posto, stanze al limite del vivibile, il resto del castello un work in progress, a malincuore ma lo sconsiglio a tutte le famiglie , abbiamo soggiornato ad un prezzo molto conveniente 240 euro per 2 notti , ma la seconda notte l abbiamo fatta in un altra struttura, non mi era mai capitato con Booking !

This has been one of the worst travel experiences of our lives. The accommodation was in completely uninhabitable and unsafe conditions. Upon arrival, we found a filthy, abandoned place: clothes thrown all over the floor, damp stains, no lighting in common areas, no reception staff, everything left open, and a terrifying atmosphere filled with disturbing paintings. The whole place was in total disrepair, and we immediately felt unsafe. We were so scared that we literally ran away from there, leaving our things behind. This is absolutely unacceptable for any platform, let alone one like Booking. After contacting customer service, we were initially told we would be refunded. But after several calls, the situation changed and we were told a full refund was not guaranteed, which is outrageous given that we couldn’t even stay there for five minutes. The property owner has not responded or taken any responsibility, and Booking hasn’t enforced any action yet. This listing should be thoroughly investigated and removed. No one should ever go through what we went through. Honestly, I’ve traveled to many places around the world, including developing countries where I knew what to expect and paid accordingly. But in this case, the price and the photos suggested a completely different experience, and what we got was dangerous, filthy, and deeply disturbing. Avoid this place at all costs. It should not be on Booking.
