Endroit magnifique et tellement calme. Chambre spacieuse et propre. La literie était bien.

Location decisamente affascinante. Praticamente abbiamo avuto il castello a nostra disposizione. Alan è un host molto disponibile.

Everything about this place is amazing. The Castle even has a fairy ring of beech trees and ancient forest in it's backyard!!! The owner, his artwork, his paintings, really bring this castle alive. We have a really great time here.

The castle is an amzing experience, the bedroom itself is clean. The castle has many rooms where you can vibe. The host is super friendly and he lets you use everything (kitchen, soundsystem,...). The rooms outside the bedrooms are maybe not the cleanest but it is not bad and what can you expect from such a historical place. I recommend the place if you want to have a special experience!

We were pleasantly surprised having a whole castle almost for ourselves. The room and beds were great and comfortable, the kitchen was cleaned after our arrival and then also very good, well equipped and useful. Would definitely book again. Surrounding area and some areas in the castle are currently under construction but no works were going on meaning no noise at all.

Beautiful environment, amazing castle to spend some time inside. Very welcoming stay by Alan and his son. Lovely room with bathroom, access to the big kitchen, inviting castle various rooms to explore and to enjoy.

We wouldn't mind to be able to have there a simple coffee and biscuit in the morning.

Accès difficile en voiture prévoir d’élaguer les arbres pour ne pas abîmer les voitures. Manque hygiène des parties communes. Que dire de la douche ?!

It was a midevil castle. Bring your own amenities as they are short in supply. They look to be mid renovation and only have a couple of rooms ready. Bring a small handheld fan in the warmer months. But it had great views and a good walk to a beautiful open field.

It could have used more updates and kind of on the higher price for what it offers. The road into the castle is one lane and forest on both sides of it. Not for the faint of heart. I forgot to take pictures of the room.

Authentic, quiet and restful

L'expérience est super. Un beau château où on peut déambuler, l'hôte est très sympa. La chambre était très grande, les lits confortables. C'est bohème, on y va pour l'expérience et le lieu, la déconnexion, pas pour le confort. Proche de Galway en voiture, point de départ facile pour les excursions du jour.

Heureusement qu'il y avait un radiateur d'appoint, la chambre était très fraiche (avril). Impossible de chauffer la salle de bain: pas de prise électrique. Pas d'internet: pas de WIFI et très peu de réseau.
