Great place to stay, clean and helpful staff, would recommend

Unfortunately I got food poisoning from the dinner

Very clean rooms and very affordable. I like that breakfast was included. The host was also very welcoming.

It was abit of a distance from Arusha town.

The entire place is clean and well-kept. The staff is kind and the manager went out of his way to respond to requests, such as going out to buy a pineapple for me and finding a different room when the one I’d been assigned didn’t meet expectations.

The place is very far from the city centre, in a middle of a neighbourhood with no amenities, so if you’re without a car you’re kind of stuck. The rooms are not as advertised on booking.com. I booked a 25 square meter room and was given one half that size, facing a brick wall a couple of feet away and the kitchen staff working right outside the window. The food is overpriced and not very good. The very energetic manager tries to sell you on trips or other services and proposes inflated prices. He will accept the going rate if you know enough to propose it, but the constant upsell gets annoying.

Poor communication among staff. Offered to buy our meals from the hotel after a staffer offered to drive us to atm, as a thank you. She accidentally thought I meant we would buy her meal too. Didn’t known we were buying 3 meals instead of 2 until after she ate and left. Was confusing when we got the bill later. Also, at nighttime staff asked us for specifics on our breakfast (no meat/egg) but the next day the requests didn’t seem to have been shared with the cooks because they gave breakfast with meat and eggs. Breakfast was tasty but dinner was almost inedible from the salt levels, maybe I’m just not used to being from a different culture. But each meal is given with a plate of fruits which is a lovely and kind touch.

From the welcome, a warm welcome, to the accommodation, the loving food and the nature walk with Brain,it was a small but intense impression into the life of the Local villagers. Especially the kindness of the staff was remarkable. Thank you very much.

A great place where you learn incredibly much about the Tanzania culture and its values. In addition, the Villa is in a lovely setting surrounded by local villages and views of Mount Meru. You will stay in best rooms, which are modernly furnished and perfectly suited to our needs. During the stay, lots of activities are arranged and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Great recommendation if you want place to stay before and after safari.

Very friendly and kind staff, guide Brain has a lot of knowledge and tries to explain everything, perfect BBQ, the room was very clean and thoughtfully planned out without any unwanted visitors, the view was awesome. I really recommend it!
