This was one of the most beautiful rooms we've ever stayed in. We booked a Japanese style room with an open air bath on the balcony and it was incredible. The dinner and breakfast were also delicious and the staff were really friendly. Right by the lake so it's a great location as well!

"Great and comfortable stay!"

We had a room with private onsen and it was amazing. Breakfast and dinner were quite a spread and delicious. The staff were fantastic! Location is great to access many hikes and near waterfalls. The hotel is just across the lake. Bus stop is also a 2 min walk away.

The room was spotless but had signs of wear and tear.

"Just perfect & what we needed."

Everything well thought out, wonderfully helpful staff, beautiful food, great views, comfy room, glorious onsen. If I ever return to Nikko, I won’t hesitate to re-book and stay in one of their Japanese rooms again!
