Luckys Lodge

This is such a cute place! It felt like our own little apartment. They have their own bar and grill right next door. We were in town for a dance competition, and my daughter didn’t have to perform until later in the day. The owners were very accommodating and let us check out later. We loved it!

We loved it. I guess if I could pick out something I didn’t like.. it would be the pillows. They were too bulky, so just bring your own pillows! :)

Entry to the huge room was with a keypad. We had no contact with any staff. The room had a back view of the lake and a front view of the lake. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in winter to go to Cascade Mountain to ski and the place is more of a summer place, so there wasn't anyone there, which was nice. Parking was right in front of our room. The place across the street, Fitz's is also fantastic. Great drinks and food (including a salad bar! :-) ). The tv allowed casting and had streaming services that we could login to watch on our own account. Would definitely stay here again. Cascade Mountain is just up the road and Madison is just down the road.

The sheets and towels could have been softer.

Great lake view. Room was spacious. Bathroom clean. In room fridge and coffee, nice. Beds were comfy.

The venting for the bath exhaust was flapping loudly all night. It was windy outside. I closed the bathroom door to muffle the sound. At about midnight, someone tried to access our room twice. The auto keypad sound woke us up out of a dead sleep! Whomever it was, realized their room was at the back of the building, as I could hear them laughing and talking. The peephole was hard to see out of, but there was a white SUV that drove toward the side of the building. I would add a hook or two to the bathroom for hanging clothes.

The location was lovely. Our room was open and large with two Queen beds. Nice sized bathroom. The shower & water pressure were very good. Nice balcony off the room. It was cold so we didn’t use it but plan to return in the Summer and/or Fall.

There was nothing not to like.

Lovely place to stay. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very clean and quiet. Definitely will be coming back!

My family and I stay here about 1-2 times a year for years! We love this place. Glad to see it’s come back after the fire

Only thing i don’t like is the bugs outside but nobody can control that, especially being on the water.
