The hosts are very friendly and welcoming guests to explore the local lifestyle. Very accommodating and taking care of you.The location is in walking distance to town.

Loud noise at night due to dogs, pigs and chickens in the neighborhood, which is not something the hosts could do about. Just flag it out if you are a difficult sleeper. But overall very nice option in the city center of Nuku'alofa.

Sifa and his wife were very friendly; not too far from the center of town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants; wifi worked well in my room

The place was a bit rough around the edges but perhaps that added to the charm

I felt very welcome and looked after thanks to my host. Picked me up, gave me heaps of tips and advise and where overall amazing. Definitely recommend

There was nothing I did not like about the a accomodation. Just be aware that it's humble, for me that's perfect

Come here just to meet the gorgeous Rachel (Rae) who has a genuine love and interest in people. Thanks for the airport pickup/drop off and her full island tour which I highly recommend. There's been a few changes from previous reviews. The internet flies and is faster than most Australian connections. The Starlink satellite connection runs at 60 meg down and 40 up. You won't get better than that. There is hot water in the shower. Push the power button on (the red box), and move the temp to 37 deg, and it works fine. This is like a genuine homestay. There is family visiting all the time. Kids, dogs, roosters, and a pig make it a rustic experience. Rooms perfectly adequate. ATMs a 10 minute walk, supermarket 12 minutes and town only 20 minutes.

Sifa and Rae are very friendly and easy going host. It made me feel like part of the family. Sifa also involved me to go to his club to play darts, and to attend his sister in law wedding, which is great for me to see a Tongan Wedding. While the property may be a bit old and small, it feel cosy and comfortable. One note: water heater has been installed and all guests can take hot shower now. Guests can also use the bicycle for free, and I used it to see part of the island cycling around. Netflix and YouTube is available on tv too.

Kitchen and toilet needs to clean more regularly but I think guests staying there can definitely help to keep it clean.
