Sifa and Rachel are some of the kindest people I've met. Thanks to their help, I had an amazing 20-day trip to Tonga, including Vava'u and Ha'apai Islands. I highly recommend it, especially for those wanting a local experience. I hope to return someday.

Sifa and Rae the hosts really took great care of me during my stay. Was like a home away from home.

What makes a stay at Kapeta Cabin exceptional is how very quickly a guest becomes part of the wonderful family that runs it. This is the perfect Tonfa family homestay experience for someone wanting to immerse in the culture. Don't expect 5 star amenities, but do look forward to a warm and embracing experience you will never forget. The tours of Tongatapu that Rachel does are excellent. You will never feel rushed and will gain keen insights into Tongan culture. I

The family that runs this business is just exceptional. I love them all! They also offer airport pick-up and drop-off or an island tour, definitely better priced than regular taxis or tours offered by other providers. The kids were also amazing, adding an extra touch to the whole stay. I just had a wonderful time there and for these couple of days actually felt like a part of this beautiful family. Thank you for everything! I hope to come back one day!

Very comfortable, and close to town.

Easy to find the place and the location was only a 10 5mins walk from the downtown.

The check in was not arranged despite notifying in advance of my arrival time. The booking says toom.provided with fan but no fan was provided and when I asked the owner called Sifa, he got angry and was very impolite and he stated that fan is not mentioned in the booking. He even asked me to leave the property, very bad behaviour from the owner. Pretty unprofessional behaviour and a pretty bad experience to stay here.

Garden flat in a quiet suburb (apart from cockerels...!) within a few minutes walk from the nearest shop and about 20 minutes walk from the waterfront and town centre. Basic budget accommodation with adequate self-catering facilities. Friendly and helpful hosts, Rae helped with airport transfers, car hire at reasonable cost, advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat. There is now wi-fi available, and TV.

Cold water shower may not suit everybody. I had the place to myself as it was out of peak season - there are 3 bedrooms and it may feel a bit crowded at full occupancy.

The host, Rachel, is fantastic!! Super friendly and helpful. The house has 3 small bedrooms, a good size living room, and everything you'd like, wifi is good, TV with cable, 2 comfortable couches, kitchen table, good size refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, there is bottled water, though I drank tap water and was fine. Bed is comfortable. Two rooms have single beds and more room than the room with a double bed. This is really a cottage not a cabin. Short walk to a grocery store, long walk to center of town. Host lives right next door. The house is clean and neat, but is not a fancy or expensive hotel, but the price is very low, so a super good deal. I asked them to pick me up at the airport, Rachel was right there on the left when I came out. We stopped at some roadside stand and got fabulous watermellon and great cooked corn. Also had her take me to the airport. A bit cheaper than a taxi and loads of fun. Two friendly dogs outside.

If you want a big or fancy hotel, this is not it, but you'll pay a LOT more. Pretty long walk into the center of town, maybe 20 minute walk or so.

The most kind and helpful family I have ever met. They make you feel welcome and like a part of family, take care of you and you will have the best stay.
