Morin Resort

Amazing boutique hotel walking distance from the beach in front of Playgrounds surf spot. The views from the room were amazing. Very nice staff.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is! We have travelled the world, and Morin is hands down the most stunning place we have ever stayed. The views are breathtaking, the common areas are gorgeous and you are surrounded by lush nature with sounds of birds and the ocean. It was truely paradise. The staff were incredibly friendly, always had a smile, and the breakfast and restaurant were delicious! We couldn’t wait to wake up in the mornings! We stayed in Mango Treehouse with the most stunning outdoor bathroom, all built around a mango tree. The location is a 5 min walk to Coconut beach, and close to all surfing spots. Recommend hiring a bike and checking out the island - hotel arranged a scooter for us. Honestly we can’t thank Morin enough for an experience of a lifetime!

Staff is Ok Rooms are OK but the garden view rooms are much less then the big sea-view rooms.

Very bad roads to reach the resort even on a scooter and me having long dirt Bike experience. Manny stairs to clime inside the resort. Vegetarian style food and vibe but to be fair thats stated clearly in the info before U book. But still because off the high recommendations U think that this disadvantage is worth it even not being a vegetarian. But i think its not u have to take a scooter to find some decent Warung but it takes time and yeah the roads are not good at all. For me its all a bit over rated then the resort its good but not the feeling U get that U should book this as stated U lucky this resort have still rooms available thats really over the top. All look bigger better on the Internet even the pool. Its not on the beach its still a wake down 10 minutes ? I think the coconut beach is OK with some decent food the other site not good for swimming.

Our room was not private. Our bed faced directly onto the entrance of another room which was uncomfortable. Room no 7. For the price I think they could do better.

Difficult to put darkness in the room

Close to the beach. Villa was very nice Breakfast was excellent. However, they should inform on booking that their restaurant serves vegan food only. You’d imagine a hotel boasting a beachfront on a coastal island would serve seafood! Well they don’t.

They have misleading information. For instance, the hotel sent me a message on booking that I have an included drop in to the hotel and once I spoke with the number mentioned as their official contact number. A lady told me that was not true and then redirected me to another number. Upon speaking to them another lady told me we will offer you a taxi but charge you for the cost of it !! Not only did it put me in a bad mood as I was already on my way to the Harbor expecting someone to pick me up from the other side but her sarcastic consecutive responses made me regret booking with them before I even arrive there !

We loved how Friendly the staff were especially Neva who had amazing customer service The Resort was very well maintained and very clean The pool area and food served was amazing Would highly recommend to everyone
