Mandarin Resort Zanzibar

Our experience at this resort was truly special – relaxing, pampering, and full of good vibes. The resort has a private beach, which made everything even more peaceful and exclusive. The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We honestly had the best vacation we could have imagined! The food was delicious, varied, and satisfying. Hanna, who manages the dining room, was exceptionally pleasant, professional, and always made sure our meals were perfect. We also want to mention Khaled, who was in charge of the entertainment and activities – he made every day fun and full of great energy. We had such a great time that we didn’t even want to leave the resort — it had everything we could possibly wish for!

Hôtel magnifique, le personnel est très gentil. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon tout était parfait.

Séjour magnifique ! Le personnel est aux petits soins et la vue est tout simplement à couper le souffle. Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable, tout était parfait !

We had a room with our own private pool whiich was next to the beach so a beautiful view over gardens and Seaview I can't fault this hotel. We booked into a nearby hotel but it was awful so booked in here last minute. Didn't even unpack. Luckily the mandarin was literally 2 minutes away Perfect. Wish we had stayed longer Staff 10/10

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza molto piacevole al Mandarin Resort, immerso nella tranquilla e affascinante atmosfera di Kizimkazi. La struttura ha un ottimo potenziale e riesce a offrire un soggiorno rilassante grazie a diversi punti di forza che meritano di essere valorizzati. Le stanze con piccola piscina privata sono davvero un valore aggiunto: sempre pulite e riservate, permettono di godersi momenti di vero relax. La spiaggia privata e il mare sono tra i più belli che abbiamo visto a Zanzibar: acque cristalline e sabbia chiara rendono ogni momento un piacere per gli occhi e per l’anima. Il tramonto, poi, è davvero spettacolare. Anche la piscina principale è molto gradevole e ben inserita nel contesto naturale, perfetta per rinfrescarsi nelle ore più calde. Uno dei veri punti di forza del resort è sicuramente il personale, sempre gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Un ringraziamento sentito va in particolare al signor Magdi, il manager della struttura, che con grande sensibilità e professionalità ha saputo comprendere una nostra esigenza, trasformandola in un’opportunità per farci vivere al meglio la vacanza. La sua attenzione al cliente è stata esemplare e ha fatto davvero la differenza nel nostro soggiorno. Molto piacevole anche il ristorante, che offre piatti semplici ma gustosi, con una bellissima terrazza affacciata sul mare, perfetta per cene al tramonto o colazioni rilassanti con vista. In conclusione, il Mandarin Resort è una scelta consigliata per chi cerca tranquillità, bel mare e un'accoglienza calorosa.

Que faltan muchos estándares para ser un resort. Ojo si mides más de 1,80 , camas que no puedes estirar los pies. Comida muy normalita y nada variada

Tolle Lage am Kizimkazi Strand und direkt neben einem Fischerdorf. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit kleinem Pool in der ersten Reihe. Ausflüge kann man mit den Fischern aushandeln, ein Tagesausflug zur Pungume Insel mit Schnorcheln und Barbecue auf einer Sandbank ist empfehlenswert. Das Hotel hat einen schönen, gepflegten Garten und eine gute Küche. Wir haben all inklusiv gewählt und Lunch und Dinner gab es als gutes und abwechslungsreiches Buffet. Fragen hat Hanna (ägyptisches Management) schnell und (über)freundlich beantwortet. Das Entertainment haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Einige Massai gab es am Strand auch, wir empfanden sie allerdings nicht aufdringlich. Gute Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

Einiges ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte erneuert oder repariert werden. Im all inclusive Angebot waren Säfte und Cocktails aus dem Tetrapack. Das geht auf einer tropischen Insel ganz sicher besser! Wir haben die frischen Säfte dann separat bezahlt oder sind in die nebenan gelegene Bar (Little Mojito) gegangen.

Mein Aufenthalt im Mandarin Resort war einfach fantastisch! Schon bei der Ankunft wurde ich herzlich von den freundlichen Mitarbeitern empfangen, die mir direkt alle wichtigen Informationen gaben und mich schnell einchecken ließen. Die Lobby war überschaubar und einladend, und die Atmosphäre des Hotels sehr angenehm. Das Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet – sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen haben mir das bequeme Bett und das geräumige Badezimmer mit hochwertigen Pflegeprodukten. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war atemberaubend, und es war so ruhig, dass ich nachts hervorragend schlafen konnte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und lecker, mit einer großen Auswahl an frischen Produkten und warmen Speisen. Auch das Mittagessen und Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant war hervorragend – kreativ zubereitete Gerichte und exzellenter Service. Vielen Dank an Küchenchef Amr, ein Weltklasse Koch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, das Management und der Service. Vielen Dank an Herr Magdi, Herr Hanna, Küchenchef Amr, Kadhija, Odis, Dagawisi und natürlich auch DJ Khalid, der für die Animation verantwortlich ist. Der Poolbereich war ebenfalls sehr schön und ein perfekter Ort, um nach einem langen Tag zu entspannen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, da es ruhig gelegen ist, und mit Abstand den schönsten Strand in Kizimkazi hat. Alles in allem war mein Aufenthalt im Mandarin Resort rundum perfekt. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen! Schöne Grüße an das ganze Mandarin Resort Team!!!

Es gibt eigentlich nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hat. Macht bitte weiter so. Wieso wird man genötigt hier 2-3 Sätze zu schreiben, obwohl ich gar nichts zu bemängeln habe.

The views are stunning. The main pool is lovely. It's very peaceful, the staff are fantastic (Hanna in particular). It's a very relaxing place to be. My rating is only low because of value for money on the top end package. I would recommend staying here but don't go all inclusive and choose a basic room (see below)

My rating is based on what I booked, which was the private pool, all inclusive. We wanted a treat and at $675 for 2 nights I expected a lot more. If I'd paid $200-$300 this would have been a very high scoring review. I don't like to give a low score but it just didn't deliver anywhere near enough for how expensive it was. I never expect amazing food from an all inclusive but this was quite poor, there were very few options and only one of them from our stay is what I'd say was good (I am not a foodie and I don't have high standards). The private pool is nice but not worth the cost The room whilst spacious was not very luxurious, it wasn't how it looked on the inside from the pictures
