If you are planning on visiting the property on Friday or Saturday, be mindful of the excessive loud music coming from the market area, until the early hours of the morning.

We could walk everywhere. The area is vibrant and interesting. The apartment was immaculately clean and huge!!

If you’re not a fan of a lively neighbourhood you might not enjoy this property, but we were extremely happy with it.

Pothos house is a lovely, modern comfortable and spacious apartment situated in the heart of Palermo's historical centre. We stayed for 10 nights in the last two weeks of April. There are three nice balconies, the largest being at the front of the building where you can sit, enjoy a drink and watch the hustle and bustle down below. It is a very busy area, so if you like people watching it is the perfect place to be. The apartment is light, airy, well equipped and decorated to a very high and attractive standard, with nice touches like framed pictures, many potted plants and decorated plates and tiles in the traditional Sicilian style. There was very good communication from our host and checking in and out was efficient and simple.

The only reason I didn't rate this a 10, is I feel that I have to mention on Friday and Saturday nights there was extremely loud techno music coming from the Vucciria market area which continued into the early hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper or have young children this could be a problem. If you like your night life and like to party, then maybe not so much. The other nights were quiet though. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Pothos house

Really big spacious apartment in a very central location, it's been recently renovated with excellent taste and attention to detail. The kitchen in particular is very well equipped and there are several balconies for observing life on the streets below. The hosts were helpful and allowed us an early check in. Recommended.

Not a problem for us, but it's on the 4th floor so alot of steps up to the apartment and being close to the Vucciria market can be a little noisy at night.

Beautifully designed and comfortable

On Friday and Saturday nights until 5:30 am we were kept awake by ear-splitting electronic music from the Vucciria market

Very spacious appartment, modern and well decorated. Extremely well equipped kitchen and bathroom, even tea and nespresso caps . The owner answered quickly to questions. Very good location for public transport, restaurants and visits.

Difficult to find something...

The apartment is simply beautiful and we instantly felt at home. We had everything we needed to work from home - reliable wifi, lots of coffee and well-equipped kitchen :) The apartment is very clean, spacious, has great layout, tastefully decorated, and has nice balconies with beautiful views. The location is perfect for discovering Palermo. Very easy to find/reach from the train station by foot or bus. It's close to so many restaurants, bars, shopping streets and city attractions.

The stairs but we already expected it. The bars in nearby Vucciria market can be loud late into the night so if you're a light sleeper, just bring earplugs.

Beautiful apartment located close to everything. We have stayed in over 40 apartments in Italy and this was definitely one of the nicest places!

The stairs up to the apartment were hard to navigate with luggage (but we only had to do it twice).
