Pothos House

The Pothos House exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutly perfect, right in the center of Palermo's old town, close to bus stations, pharmacy, ATM, local markets/supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants, whilst remaining cozy and quiet enough at night for a good rest. It's spacious, clean, tastefully & newly decorated and very well equipped. Plus, the bed was really comfortable. Our hosts were very kind, responsive, helpful and flexible, which we appreciated a lot, and their attention to detail is top notch 😊 We absolutely loved it here and would return whenever visiting Palermo again.

The only 'minus' of the property we can objectively point to is the lack of a lift in the building. We personally found the climbing of stairs to be a nice cardio session after all the pizza, pasta and cannoli eaten, but we understand this might not be that accessible for everyone.

self catering but very central to loads of good restaurants and sites, apartment has been very well laid out and suitable for four sharing with very good air con and great shower

the 59 steep steps up to the apartment made luggage difficult to get up and down and would be a real problem for anyone with mobility issues. Being central city there was a lot of street noise all night, particularly the regular sirens from emergency vehicles but did not spoil our stay. great views from the all round balconies though!

Very good location, clean and tidy, very polite hosts and everything was included. It was a very nice stay.

Beautiful apartment in the hearth of Palermo, tastefully decorated, very functional and with all possible amenities. The owners were extremely kind and helpful.

Nothing… well, a bit of stairs ;) but the owners helped even with the luggage 🤩
