Osheen Homestay Sigiriya

Stayed at this homestay for 4 nights and had such a lovely time there. The owners are so warm and friendly and can’t do enough for you. The room with the private pool is spacious, with air con and the pool is clean and a really calm space. Also a resident peacock that likes to hang out nearby! Breakfast everyday was slightly different and lots of delicious bread snacks and fruit. We had our laundry done too which was quick and cheap! They also arranged a cooking class for us down the road which was super fun and huge! This was all with a baby, so also baby friendly place! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay! Although the property is close to the road, it truly felt like being in the jungle. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful - they assisted us in organizing all of our trips at very reasonable prices. The food they served was delicious, and the beer was always cold :) We especially loved the pool, it was the perfect place to cool off after long, hot days.

Location a bit far from restaurants in Sigiriya. Tree houses are rustic, gaps in boards and stairs to the double a bit wobbly. We moved to a standard double which was clean but smelled damp. Value probably ok but there may be nicer places for just a bit more money.

The treehouse rooms were cute but the garden rooms were not great.

A beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by trees, great for a stay in Sigiriya. It was a great place to stay, the house was really clean, we had amenities like a fridge, kettle and tea. The place was really nice, like a little jungle, but close to a few restaurants and shops. There was no problem with hot water as the shower had an electric heater. There was a water squeezer in the bathroom, which helped to drain the water after the shower, which was really convenient. The hosts were really nice, we also liked the breakfast.

The room was a really good size and clean. The host was very friendly and helped us rent a scooter and recommended things to do while we were in Sigiriya. She also made us a delicious breakfast every morning - the coconut sambal was the best we had in Sri Lanka! We loved the place because it was in a great location for Sigiriya Rock and very easy to walk to restaurants. Everywhere we ate was delicious!

We had an amazing stay! The hospitality was truly amazing, the hosts were incredibly kind, caring, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is great, and the people here are wonderful. They offered to pick us up/drop us off everywhere, and they even arranged a driver for us. We also went on a safari with them, which was absolutely amazing. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay - highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in Sigiriya and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. They assisted us with local arrangements and always made sure we were comfortable. Their hospitality was truly outstanding, making us feel right at home.🌾🌲🌿🌴
