Osheen Homestay Sigiriya

Amazing accommodation. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning was great and there were lovely areas to relax and have breakfast by the pool. The food was really outstanding, the staff also offered a cooking class - the results were amazing. It is in a great location 👌

Short drive to Sigiryi (Lion Rock) which was great when wanting to climb for sunrise. Tasty breakfast that was different on two days we stayed and lots of tea and coffee. Lovely shady pool. We also ate dinner and it was delicious. They run a cooking course which we would have liked to have taken but we hadn’t allowed the time.

Our driver was uncomfortable about the sign that said he was not welcome which was a shame.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au cœur d'une nature magnifique et d'une faune abondante. Ils proposent des excursions à Sigiriya en tuk-tuk.Nous avons adoré l'endroit et rencontré la famille propriétaire, très sympathique ! Nous avons également participé à un cours de cuisine, et c'était délicieux.

Les hôtes sont adorables et très accueillants. L'endroit est exceptionnel, d'un calme absolu. À proximité : Lion Rock, à quelques minutes en tuk-tuk du centre-ville. La piscine est magnifique, idéale après une journée d'exploration. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit. Merci !

Tout était parfait. Nous avions une magnifique chambre avec vue sur la piscine et terrasse, et nous avons tellement adoré que nous sommes restés quatre nuits au lieu des trois prévues. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent et copieux. Nous avons pris la plupart de nos autres repas à la maison d'hôtes, car la nourriture était vraiment délicieuse et d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nos hôtes ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Ils ont tout organisé pour nous : un massage dans un excellent spa, une excursion matinale en tuk-tuk jusqu'au Rocher du Lion et à Pidurangala pour admirer le lever du soleil, et un safari à dos d'éléphant dans leur propre jeep. Nous avons également participé à un cours de cuisine que nous recommandons vivement. La piscine est propre, de bonne taille et l'espace extérieur est très agréable pour se détendre.

"A beautiful homestay with a very nice family. We enjoyed delicious homemade breakfasts and dinners, a beer by the pool, and elephant rides at night. The family arranged a tuktuk for our adventures, and also a jeep for the safari. We are sad to leave after 4 days, and hope to come back someday."

Welcoming and friendly family, great location in the heart of the city, pool surrounded by bushes makes it a really peaceful place to relax. Also recommend the cooking class which was excellent. 10 minute drive from Lions Rock so a great location for a morning hike."

The owner is very friendly and hospitable, her cooking is delicious. And the environment... is very beautiful! The room is comfortable and clean. We were only sad to stay for one night.
