CAThe staff were very good ,polite,kind and helpful,the location but it was not worth the tarif per night.
There was no hotwater in the shower during our 6 nights, large cockroaches running on the path to the bedrooms at night,water leaked from the wall tiles in the bathroom making it dangerous to walk after a shower.

Mkonge is a old historical landmark. Needs a bit updating to keep up with the demands of the new era. Updating hot water system.
CHThe location is ok, jsut keep in mind, its a bit outside from everything and no other restaurant around. At least we could not find any.
Food in the restaurant was terrible-. Several guests comlaint about it. The first day we had fish, but it as soo dry, we had to reject. Then it took over one hour to get the food, even there were only 5 people in the restaurant. When we complained the hotel manager showed up and just said: we are sorry. Second day we choose beef, same experiance.... The shower cabine was defect and there was only a few drops of water coming out of the shower head. Staff very slow and not interested at all. We did'nt tested the pool as the water was not clear at all. Maybe to much Chloride?
