La décoration , le petit déjeuner

L’odeur d’humidité qui nous envahit dès l’entrée dans la maison . C’est très désagréable car ce n’est pas sain du tout . Impossible de mettre nos vêtements dans la penderie tellement c’était suffocant dès l’ouverture de celle-ci. Il faisait froid dehors et le matin salle de petit dej très fraîche , pas assez confortable à mon goût ..

Rien. Petit. Mauvaise communication.

Nous avions réservé deux chambres. A notre arrivée on nous a annoncé qu'il y n'y avait qu'une seule de disponible, sans nous avoir prévenu et sans que cela semble gêner les gens de l'hôtel.

Die Sauberkeit war mangelhaft, wir mussten das Personal drängen, unser Bett bei Ankunft neu zu beziehen. Es waren Haare auf dem Kopfkissen und Flecken auf der Decke. Da hatte schon jemand drin geschlafen. Das zweite Zimmer unserer Kinder hatte Schimmel an der Decke im Bad. Der Gestank wurde durch Duftspender überdeckt. Die beiden sind ausgezogen und haben ein anderes Hotel gebucht.

This Riad is inside the Kasbah so it cannot be directly reached by car, but it is quite close to the El Morocco Club, which can be reached by car - tell the driver to drop you off there. From there you can walk down to the Riad (see my map photo) - you may need help finding it but it is close by. If you just walk down the side street next to where the morning tables are set up at El Morocco (not the ones out front) and take the left path the Riad will be on your right. It is near Rue de Soleil where it meets Rue Ahmed Ben Ajiba. The phones at the Riad apparently don't work, so you cannot call them. They also were very difficult to reach through the portal. There are two restaurants close by which have alcohol and wine, one of which is the El Morocco Club and the other is right inside the Kasbah entrance on the right - La Muralla, and you will want to have reservations for either of them as they are quite busy in the evenings. Do it during the day ASAP. Both have excellent food - the difference is El Morocco club is smaller and more intimate where La Muralla is larger, livlier, and open more hours. Also the view of Tangier from La Muralla is beautiful. As with most Riads, there is no elevator so you will have to deal with stairs, and the breakfast (excellent and generous) is served on the roof. The staff are quite nice and helpful, but you may want to have google translate on your phone available. The room facilities list on booking.com is confusing as they combine the overall (common) facilities of the riad itself along with things specific to the room. It is also slightly incorrect as there is no private parking (Riad is inside the Kasbah) except public parking outside and below the Kasbah (about a city block away). There is no sofa (there are two chairs and a table) or walk in closet (it is a wall closet) in the room. The room is a nice size and comfortable, and even has a bidet. I would stay here again if I return to Tangier.

Phones could be fixed so that they work and the staff can be reached. Staff could be responsive via email or booking.com. Directions could be provided with confirmation email. Other than that it was great.

Соотношение: цена / качество; очень дорого для того, что кондиционер весь в плесени и его страшно включать, ванная комната темная и требует ремонта, полотенца застиранные. После мы остановились в шикарном, новом отеле всего на 20€ дороже, с потрясающей чистотой, видом на океан и невероятным сервисом.

Les odeurs d’égouts dans la chambre et la salle de bain. Pas de bouteille d’eau à l’arrivée ni dans la chambre. Les tapis de la chambre étaient salle. Plus de lumière dans la salle de bain ( les 2 miroirs ).
