Nakaya House

Very convenient location yet still quiet and peaceful. The guest area was spacious. Having access to a private living room in traditional Japanese style was delightful. Bathroom, WCs and washing areas were great. The owner was helpful, spoke clear English and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable.

Loved everything about our stay here. They host was exceptionally helpful and Miyajima was perfect. The space was huge and so comfortable. Perfect location. Wish we'd stayed for two instead of one night (if in doubt book for two you won't regret it).

Wonderful house, and the host is one of the nicest person I've met in Japan. She's also very fluent in english which made things a lot easier.

Nothing about the house, more about Miyajima itself which is not very lively at night. Watch out if you plan to eat outside as there are not many options after 8pm.

Property was one street back from main shopping street, very close and quite perfect for getting up early and beating the crowds. It was traditional upstairs and modern downstairs.

Gorgeous traditional Japanese house, very clean, spacious

Amazing experience, spacious house, lovely aesthetic, beautiful and comfortable tatami mat with a kotatsu heater. Large and spacious shower and massive automatic filling bath. My only regret is that I wasn't able to stay more than one night!
