Ni e little guest house in miyajima. Not many restaurants open after 5 so prepare your dinner ahead

Host was super helpful and friendly, really great place to stay!

Staying in this traditional old Japanese house was a fantastic experience. The accommodation featured four comfortable Western style single beds across two bedrooms, providing a refreshing change from the small hotel rooms we had been staying in. Having the entire house to ourselves complete with traditional dining room, two toilets and a private bathroom made our stay even more enjoyable. The host who lived in the front house was incredibly welcoming and spoke perfect English, which made everything even easier. The island itself is a wonderful place to visit and once the crowds leave, it becomes even more special as you get the chance to explore at your own pace and capture the stunning scenery in peace.

The upstairs room & bathroom are very separate from the main floor, which is hard if you have a family of 5

A real Japanese experience, the house is overall well maintained and the owner is very kind, speaks excellent English and has told us lots of tips, places, timetables and more to live at best our short time on the island. There are typical Japanese rooms at the second floor, with soji, tatami, Tokoname and karatsu.

It’s not new, so how the spaces are organized as in the past.

Excellent communication- she has such great English. And proactively helped us with the ferry trip back and information about what was open or not ( patchy due to holiday season)

It was conveniently located close to the sights but in a quiet area. Having the house to ourselves was a treat to experience a house style accommodation

Didn’t have a tv to pass some time in the house. Would like to stay longer…..

The location was excellent close to the attractions, shops and places to eat, the owner was very friendly and helpful she lives in the house upstairs in front of the accommodation so she is always there if you need help, but she doesn’t invade your privacy. The house where we stayed was roomy and comfortable. It was good we had fresh towels everyday. The bathroom was a great size and the bath was great after a long day of hiking.

There isn’t really anything that we didn’t like.
