We are extremely grateful that we had the opportunity to stay at beautiful Nakaya House on Miyajima Island. Our host was most helpful when recommending restaurants, transportation and other useful tips on the island regarding sunset’s sunrises for our family to see the Otorii Gates. We have perfect memories of our stay and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity! The clear instructions before arriving at the Island from our host ensured every minute was maximised beautifully. Thank you for your kindness and sharing lovely conversations with us!

Nakaya House was the perfect stay for us visiting Miyajima! The host was welcoming, gracious, and gave lots of great recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do. The house was clean, comfortable, and met all our needs.

"Great island stay close to Hiroshima"

First time in Miyajima and so so glad we stayed overnight. It’s a wonderful and enchanting island. Cute temples, deer wandering everywhere, mountains to climb. Nakaya is in a great location, lots of space in a spotlessly clean traditional house (we were family of 5). Owner was super helpful - her recommendations for activities and restaurants were spot on. Would love to go back.
