Morris Ranch

The location of this property is fantastic. It was so quiet and lovely. We had the opportunity to tour the historic schoolhouse, which was genuinely incredible! We would love to come back.

Coffee pot didn’t work.

Loved the location-quiet, private. Very interesting history of the ranch and ‘ghost town’ of Morris Ranch. Directions to the ranch was easy to follow. Communication with host was very good. We had a nice comfortable stay!

Our family of five adults was looking for a quiet place to cook a meal and enjoy the evening while we visited Fredericksburg. This place was perfect and so secluded we got to see deer in the yard and a fox. There´s plenty of space in the house and we got to hang out together on the porch, but still had privacy in our own rooms at the end of the night. The hosts were very quick to communicate making this an easy rental. The house is immaculate.

There´s nothing not to like, especially if you are looking to be away from bustle of every day life.

The location was very good and it was the best thing about this ranch experience.

I booked the property based on the image of the bigger house. The day before arriving I was sent an image of the smaller house. The information regarding the entering and closing the building was for the bigger and nicer house. The kitchen was tiny and lacked most cooking utensils, such as a single sharp knife. The outside porch and its furniture were dirty. There was a brochure mentioning a welcome bottle of wine from the ranch. When Im inquired about it, I was told that since the proprietor was away he not able to do this. Overall, lots of missinformation.

It was secluded and quiet. The house was perfect and I loved the decorations. It had everything we needed and so easy to get into.

The location was secluded and peaceful. It was great to come back and wind down after some busy days in town. We stayed in the smaller building on property and it was perfect for the five of us. I’d definitely visit again.
