Morris Ranch

The location is isolated but it's perfect for a getaway to disconnect and enjoy nature, the beautiful scenery!!!

It doesn't have any televisions available, but we survived!

We loved that we had the whole house to ourselves and the historic look of the property! There were plenty of beds for everyone and space to lounge and hang out.

The few downsides were when we arrived at the house it was very hot inside and it took almost an entire day for it to cool down. Maybe pre-cool the house before guests arrive in the future. The other negative thing was that there were no mirrors in the bedrooms and it made it difficult for 4 girls to get ready at the same time. Also there wasn’t a full length mirror in the home, or at least upstairs where I was staying.

Absolutely perfect. I come from a long line of Morris' this was fantastic. A new awesome detail every time you took a close look. For instance, at the front step you can see where the water running down the roof valley carved a channel in the first porch step. Little things like that.

The key was missing, so no way to lock the house when we left.

Initially I did not have a good experience. The housekeeper gave the property we booked to the family who had booked the lesser house on the grounds. We were asked to if we would stay in the smaller house with a $100 refund. I agreed. The smaller house was not as accommodating and the shower did not work. However, it WAS very clean. It was also comfortable. It did not meet our needs as the house we booked would have. The owner gave us a full refund under the circumstance. I cannot complain or find fault with that kind of gracious customer service. I would recommend the property on cleanliness, location, comfort, and customer service.

Only that there was a mix up by the house cleaners.
