Morris Ranch

We provided our own food for this trip including breakfast. However, the kitchen appliances, dishes/cookware were plentiful and in good working order. The home is quite comfortable and spacious, with plenty of privacy and quiet. We would recommend these accomodations to anyone!

There are three different homes on this property altogether. Despite being a little confused due to Booking not being more clear on which house we were going to stay in, the property manager was able to get us taken care of and we had a comfortable stay.

Beautiful property. Loved the rugs and throw pillows. Beds were very comfortable.

The internet didn’t work at all. No spices or oil for cooking. Some basics would be appreciated. Also the access to the attic should be locked - it would be a safety hazard for children.

The location…..a quiet and lovely spot close enough to Main Street but away from the hustle and bustle. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable with clean, soft and breathable cotton linens.

The photos are a bit misleading…..we thought we would be staying the in the big building displayed in the photos but were actually staying in a smaller outhouse kinda smaller building next to the School House. The kitchen and second bathroom were both missing hand soap and there was no bath soap in both the bathrooms. Also, the water filter in the refrigerator has not been replaced which is very concerning and alarming. So, we had to drive to HEB and purchase mineral water as we did not feel comfortable drinking unfiltered water.

We loved everything about this location. The coffee station, the beds, lots of space. Close proximity to OktoberFest was a deciding factor for our family. This location is perfect for a quiet getaway. Not too far from the downtown area and all the great restaurants.

We thought there would be breakfast but that didn’t really bother us because there was lots to eat at OktoberFest. There’s more to love about this place. My family was pleased and we’d book here again if we’re back in the Hill Country.

Loved the location and loved seeing the deer and wild turkeys that were around the house. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed for tea and coffee. We enjoyed the house very much.

It was comfortable and in a great location. We loved sitting by the fire (we brought our solo stove) in the evening and drinking coffee in the morning in the cool weather. The decor was very interesting and I enjoyed reading the history of the place.
