Santai House

The room we stayed in was so beautiful, with a balcony that opened on to the forest. It felt private and easy to balance spending time solo relaxing but also hanging out with the amazing hosts! They cooked us so much delicious food, including grilled fish on the fire on our last night. 😍 There’s lots of funny cats and chickens around as well. The garden is so special and colourful, with many different things growing and a view of some rice paddies. The bungalows are around a 10 minute drive from the central Tetebatu area, and it’s nice to be away from most of the other accomodation in the area. We can’t wait to come back again, thankyou for everything guys! ❤️

Agung the owner was really friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and for a good price. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly made you feel very welcome. They helped us arrange a tour with Lan through the monkey forest and waterfall and we learnt a lot about the spices and rice fields which even included lunch. Would highly recommend staying here it was one of our favourite places.

A lot of tours, delicious food, amazing people and beautiful place to wake up everyday. Very cute kitties!

Nice stay in the middle of nature and in the middle of the locals. Someone is making breakfast, lunch and dinner in the stay - which was delicious. The restaurants are too far away to walk, but since there’s good food in the stay it was no problem. We also book a tour in the stay for the rice fields, waterfalls and monkey forest. We had the best guide for this experience: Anwar Hameed. 🙏🏼Thanks once again for explaining so well everything. We really loved the tour! So overall very good experience.

You hear the mosque quit hard in the morning.

Tempat yang nyaman untuk healing bersama keluarga atau teman.Terbaik pokoknya untuk menyepepi dari perkotaan.Tapi mungkin lebih ditingkatkan keamanan dan penjagaan.Pemadaman listrik dr tengah malam sampai pagi. Sy hubungi penjaga tidak ada respon. Pada saat mati lampu tengah malam ada orang yang mengganggu mencoba membuka pintu.

Keamanan dan penjagaan kurang

Amazing Little house in the middle of the jungle, super comfortable bed and very pleasant atmosphere. The owner of the homestay is really a nice and cool guy, working together with friends and family members. I also had the chance to have a day trip tour with one of their guides, Anuar, it has been a really nice experience. The homestay is the only touristic reception in the north Tetebatu district, this makes the experience even more authentic.

Tetebatu y Santai House, ha sido de momento de nuestro viaje y de las tres islas en las que hemos estado el lugar más autentico, más bonito y lleno de paz. Pocos turistas, nuestra habitación era preciosa cuidando en el diseño cada detalle. Hemos desayunado y cenado alli y también excepcional. A destacar la comodidad de la gente que lleva el lugar que te hacen sentirte de forma natural y relajada y no de una forma mas fría como en otros hoteles que solo buscan hacer negocio contigo. A destacar también los guias con los que cuenta Santai Hotel para hacer tour, nos entendimos perfectamente con ellos, muy agradables y nos explicaron muchas cosas. En definitiva un 10!

Nos gustó todo. Hemos visto que en muchos comentarios hablan sobre la humedad del alojamiento y el tema de los sonidos de los rezos, a esa gente creo que tienen que adaptarse al lugar alojamiento que van y no el lugar a ellos, eso es lo autentico del viaje. Muchas gracias

Trois authentiques petits chalets en bois et bambou au milieu d'une végétation luxuriante avec vue sur les rizières. Chacun a sa terrasse et son hamac. Frigo et petit coin cuisine minimaliste dans les chalets. Confortable et propre. Poules, poussins, coqs, chats et chatons vivent en liberté et vous tiendront compagnie. Calme absolu (sauf l'appel à la prière des mosquées). Possibilité de louer des scooters ou de réserver des excursions. Possibilité de prendre le petit-déjeuner et le repas du soir à cet homestay. Le petit centre ville de Tetebatu est assez éloigné. Nous avons baladé en scooter dans les environs (très peu de voitures) au milieu des rizières, de la vie locale. Tous les gens rencontrés (et il en a eu beaucoup) nous ont salué d'un "hello" avec le sourire. Forêt des singes (beaucoup moins de singes qu'à Ubud), rizières et waterfall. Parenthèse enchantée si vous voulez découvrir Lombok autrement. Coup de cœur pour Tetebatu.
