Cocobay Resort Kumarakom

The breakfast was good, - fresh cut fruits & juices, toast & eggs, sausages, hash brown, etc. The various traditional Kerala dishes we had for lunch and dinner were very good too. The service staff did a good job, particularly Musa. The property is very well maintained, both inside and out. The traditional tiled roofs look great in the verdant settings. There's a spa and an outdoor swimming pool too for those interested. The property faces the great Vembanad Lake, so a great view is guaranteed at all times, and particularly at sunset. Cormorants, egrets and herons are seen by the lakeside. The access to the property from the car park is by a short boat ride on a village canal which adds to the atmospherics. We enjoyed walking through the neighbouring village and interacting with the friendly villagers.

The property is much prettier that the photos, it is has stunning views and location. the access to cocobay oy by boat only. i liked that, but for others it was a suprise

The staff can have a bit more sense of urgency. has the boat ready on time, logistics could be improved and more efficient

The location, food and overall ambience, the only thing and the most lacking thing was there was no mosquito mesh on either the door or the windows, by having them u can fresh air circulating in the room during daytime making u feel great, otherwise the room has to be closed all the time, moreover they have a wonderful garden, but they should have citronella plants to prevent mosquitos.

We loved the hotel, it's very quiet and beautiful place to stay. Room was clean, pool is nice.

I did't like the food, dinner was spicy so we couldn't eat much, even thought prices are not cheap. Breakfast was ok, but still not nice for the price we paid. As hotel is far from everything there no other options to eat than in the hotel.
