Rapopo Plantation Resort

the location and the views of the sea and distant volcano are beautiful. the room was comfortable and cleaned daily. the staff were very kind. food at the onsite restaurant was generally good, and the terrace overlooking the sea was unbeatable.

the common areas like the swimming pool was not cleaned appropriately, there were at times tissues and old towels lying around for several days. silly policy about taking guests to the airport at fixed times 2h before departure, which for us meant a 4:30am ride.

Quiet and relaxing. Very friendly staff, alwaying smiling and ready to assist you.

Had to go through the restaurant where guest were eating to access the car park and the beachfront. Suggest creating a different pathway for carpark and beachfront access.

The distance quite far from shops and towns.

The views were incredible. It's the only time I can remember where the online photos don't do justice to the real thing. I also liked the self-contained nature of the resort. There was no need to leave except for activities. Food was pretty good.

The wifi/cell service wasn't great. A place like this should consider Starlink.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, good transport service to & from airport pick up and into town fr shopping. Comfortable bed, stunning sunsets and clean swim beach + pool.Very safe. No phone in room and meals quite expensive.

The hotel is close to airport rather than staying further down into Rabaul. Niugini Dives in the property provides land and sea tours which is very convenient plus the restaurant has a large, varied menu. I also enjoyed the spa services after a long touring day.

Service can be slow

The views are exceptional and the room is spacious and cozy. Excellent locations. The hotel has a company on site that organizes the best tours and activities at a very affordable price.
