Midigama Inn

Lovely place, lovely family 💕 Thank you everything to make me feel safe and comfortable like a home. Everything was very clean ! Near by yoga studio (15m by bicycle), very close to the beach Midigama.

The place is sourrounded by nature, which i loved much. However you have to prepare for the mosquitos.

10 minutes from the main road so was lovely and peaceful. The best part was the family and how friendly they were! I also loved the lime juice they gave me when I arrived YUM!! They were so kind and did my laundry for me and really responsive over message. I felt so safe here and want to come back and do a cooking class with them!

Wish I could have stayed for longer !

I had a very nice,relaxing stay at Kurulu’s. He has an adorable family, and they were nothing but welcoming and helpful. The area was quiet, jungle feeling. Kitchen fully equipped. The room was very comfortable,WiFi reliable. Was a good place to work from and relax. Can just recommend:)

Kurulu and chandima were super friendly, courteous and helpful. The accommodation is very quiet and familiar. We would stay here again at any time.

I will start with the room , so clean , everything is new, very comfortable- with a huge bed! The outside is serounded by nature You have everything that you need in the room and outside a super nice space to chill, study, work, be social , do yoga etc.. The place is own by the most beautiful, nice people there is ! It’s really felt like home , they will help you with everything that you need and more ! They are so heart opening, warm people with good intentions !!! As a solo traveler I felt so so safe there and I was so comfortable. I truly recommend this place - for solo and couples !!!

Nothing - for me it was perfect

Everything about the property is amazing , from the rooms to the balcony to the big garden . Our beds were very comfortable with enough air flow to help with the midday heat . On top of that , we were greeted with such warmth from our host , Kurulu and Chandima. We were given a welcome drink and all sorts of information prior to our arrival . Their two children were so lovely and it was amazing to be staying and playing around with them . On top of that , being in such close proximity to the jungle we saw many wildlife such as Peacock , monitor lizards , mongoose, squirrels as well as black monkeys . It was surreal to be feeling in such closeness to nature when you live just 5 mins off the closest beach , which is by lazy left . The restaurants around the area was also within 5 mins walking . You can basically walk anywhere from the property .

Midigama Inn felt like a home away from home, a place that I will certainly miss! The 3 rooms are brand new and very comfortable. The setting is beautiful, quiet and surrounded by nature yet only a few minutes away from the town and beach. It was so nice to sit in front of the room and watch the birds, squirrels, monkeys and mongoose pass by. Wifi works great and there's a nice set up to work in case you need to. What really makes this place special is the wonderful and warm family. Kurulu and Chandima are so caring and looking after you, always ready to help. Chandima brought fresh coffee and fresh flowers every morning. Together they run a fantastic cooking course, do not miss out on that one! And then the kids, a big bright smile to welcome you every day :) The reviews for this place tell it all... Grab this place when you get a chance, you won't regret!!

Midigama inn is a wonderful choice to enjoy green beautiful surroundings in a quiet area away from the main road yet still so close to the beach and surfing spots like lazy left and lazy right. The family members are so nice, friendly and welcoming and will help with everything you can imagine needed and beyond and always with a smile and good energy. On top of the beautiful green view and the calming sounds of the birds (and even peacocks:) the food is so delicious and they even give traditional cooking lessons. The room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed. I would have loved to stay longer but happy for them they are fully booked for the time of my visit. A must visit for a quality local feeling of the area. High value for your money guaranteed! Thank you for everything i had the best time with you guys and will definitely come back!
