Haven't noticed anything wrong.

The location is the only plus point. The Kashi Vishwanath temple & all the ghats are at walking distance.

The receptionist is rude. Should be changed. The Cottage room (most expensive), was smelly & upon asking the reception to change it, they didn't. Instead, they sprayed some freshner, which covered the smell temporarily, and again, it was the same. On booking, we had requested Jain food, and there were hardly any options available. Daily, they would serve Iddli/vada sambar and puri sabji.

I lost my room card. They charged 500 Rupees for a duplicate key.

The staff were helpful, and the location, if you want to be in the middle of the celebration, was good. I think next time I am back to Varanasi I would prefer a hotel away from the noise, something that gave me a bit of a relief, at least at night when I am trying to sleep. I knew where the hotel was when I booked it so this isn't a fault of the hotel.

I few things that I am used to that I missed. No WiFi. I know they say they have it but it doesn't exist. No hot water. I know you can call the front desk and ask them to turn it on from time to time, but ... On the upside a completely cold water shower gets you going in the morning. I did try out the restaurant and the food was tasty, however, I was sick within 3 hours and stayed that way for 2 days. I know I can't pin that on the restaurant but the timing is suspicious. Also, taxi and ubers can't get to the hotel. Instead you will be dropped off nearby. The hotel does a decent job of convincing drivers to meet you close by.
