Garden House

Everything about our stay at the Garden House was beyond what we thought it’d be. The location is phenomenal, the property itself is gorgeous, and whether a couple or family, it’s perfect. The owners Mara and Carlos are so accommodating and lovely, helping every way they can and giving suggestions on places to visit and things to do. We can’t say how grateful we are to have found the Garden House, and to have the privilege of staying there! Such a beautiful, perfect place.

Dom jest niesamowicie zlokalizowany, na samym szczycie dzięki czemu z tarasu widać całą zatokę. Pokoje są gustownie urządzone, są wygodne dzięki dostępowi do osobnych łazienek. Obiekt jest wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne sprzęty przez co pobyt jest maksymalnie wygodny. Jest bardzo czysto. Świetnym atutem jest możliwość korzystania z pomieszczenia z grillem. Właściciele to przecudowne, zawsze uśmiechnięte i pomocne osoby. Dzięki nim pobyt stał się jeszcze lepszy 🙂

A Dream Getaway at The Garden House We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Garden House, and it was an unforgettable experience. Mara & Carlos welcomed us with open arms, ensuring our every need was met with warmth and hospitality. Their recommendations for local eateries and activities made our stay truly exceptional. The location is perfect, just a short drive from the city center and easy access to explore the island. The house itself is impeccable, spacious, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a vacation. Even with our family of four, there was ample space for everyone to enjoy privacy. The views from the terrace are breathtaking, making it the ideal spot for morning coffee or evening wine sessions. The Garden House exceeded our expectations in every way possible, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a beautiful home away from home, look no further than The Garden House. Highly recommended!

Die Gastgeber sind supernett und hilfsbereit in jeder Lebenslage. Als mein Mann am Flughafen feststellte, dass sein Jacket mit Pass noch im Schrank hängt, haben Mara und Carlos uns gerettet und sind damit wie die Feuerwehr zum Flughafen gekommen. Das Haus ist wunderbar und komfortabel eingerichtet , sehr sauber und der Ausblick auf den Hafen von Funchal herrlich, beim Morgenkaffee sieht man die Schiffe ein-und ausfahren. Paradiesisch. Das Garden House hat eine unschlagbare Lage mit spektakulärem Blick über ganz Funchal. Bis zum Zentrum sind es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten, keine drei Minuten vom Haus gibt es außerdem eine Bushaltestelle. Auch der wunderschöne Botanische Garten liegt buchstäblich um die Ecke. Nicht weit entfernt gibt es außerdem eine Ladenzeile mit zwei kleinen Supermärkten, einer hervorragenden Bäckerei, einem Obst- und Gemüseladen sowie einer Apotheke. Die Selbstversorgung ist also auch kein Problem. Das Haus ist innen großzügig ausgestattet, bietet jede Menge Platz und auf der Terrasse lässt es sich herrlich sonnenbaden. Eine Außendusche sorgt gelegentlich für Abkühlung. Ganz besonders aber wird die Unterkunft durch ihre Gastgeber: Wir haben uns nicht zuletzt aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen für das Haus entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Mara und Carlos begrüßen ihre Gäste persönlich vor Ort und zeigen ihnen alles, was es zu wissen gibt. Wie schon andere hier geschrieben haben, wartet in der Küche ein kleines Begrüßungspaket, damit ankommende Urlauber schon einmal einen ersten Imbiss nehmen können, bevor sie sich orientieren müssen. Die Herzlichkeit der Hausbesitzer ist uns in dieser Form noch nirgends begegnet: Sie sind jederzeit ansprechbar, versorgen einen mit vielen Tipps zu Stadt und Insel, beantworten jede Frage und bieten einem sogar an, einen morgens um sieben zur Fähre zu bringen. Die beiden tun alles, damit sich Touristen so problemlos wie möglich in ihrer Heimat bewegen können und sich dabei wohlfühlen.

Es gibt eigentlich nichts, was nicht gepasst hat. Ja, unterhalb des Hauses verläuft eine Schnellstraße, deren Verkehrslärm zu hören ist. Wer da empfindlich ist, sollte hier nicht buchen. Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gestört!

We had a very warm welcome at the beautiful Garden House. It's a wonderful and clean house with a great view from the terrace on the city of Funchai and the Atlantic ocean. The facilities were perfect including bread, drinks and coffee for the first day. We enjoyed the Atlantic Festival fireworks, the city of Funchai and the various sightseeing trips we made on the island. It's been a great holiday. Many thanks for your hospitality Mara and Carlos!
