Garden House

We love this beautiful view and the comfortable terrace as well beautiful views from all the balcony terraces on the first floor. There is enough space for everything next to the house; space for privacy (3 nice rooms with big beds each), as well enough common space for social activities, including the area for barbeque and everything you need for that. It's a clean, well-kept house and garden; a quiet region, very close to the bus stop and the botanical garden. No problem with parking a rent car next to the house. The contact with our hosts was quick and very friendly and we know that they were ready to help us as soon as it would be necessary. We spent beautiful moments in there and this was a good point to start our trips in order to explore the island in all directions.

The house located on a nice hill and has an breathtaking view to the ocean. Owners are a very nice family. They are extremly friendly and helpfull, so they were real background for a peaceful holiday. The house is fully equiped for great relaxing and confortable stay. We were 110% satisfied, because it overexceeded our expectations.

Alles bestens! Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Empfang. Als Überraschung ein tolles Willkommenspaket. Ein kleiner Einkauf war schon erledigt, damit mussten wir Abends nicht mehr los und konnten den nächsten Morgen entspannt beginnen. Sehr sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Haus mit super Blick über Funchal! Alles in allem können wir diese Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen. 5 Sterne von uns.

Wir sind noch nie so herzlich in einer gemieteten Unterkunft empfangen worden wie hier im „Garden House“ auf Madeira. Mara und Carlos, unsere Gastgeber, haben uns mit Käse, Brot, Milch, Säften, Wasser und Kaffee für den ersten Hunger nach unserer Reise versorgt! Auch ein Korb mit süßen Spezialitäten aus Madeira und eine Flasche Madeira-Wein stand auf dem Tisch. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und nach portugiesischem Stil eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die 3 Schlafzimmer befinden sich im oberen Stock und wir hatten einen wunderbaren Blick von unserem Balkon direkt auf das Meer und die Stadt Funchal. Die Aussicht war überwältigend! Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich die Küche und das Wohn- und Speisezimmer mit Ausgang auf den kleinen Garten und die großzügige Terrasse. Ein kleines Tischchen lädt zum Essen draußen mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und Funchal ein! Da ist man sofort in Urlaubsstimmung! Auf den beiden Sonnenliegen unter dem Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse konnten wir uns nach unseren Ausflügen auf der Insel herrlich erholen. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und können das „Garden House“ sehr weiterempfehlen! Danke liebe Mara und Carlos für die herzliche Aufnahme und eure Gastfreundschaft!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Garden House and I must say I was impressed by experience. The house itself was impressive - spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for a party of 5 with a toddler. Amazing view over the Funchal. But what really set the Garden House apart for me was the warm and welcoming hospitality of the hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and provided lots of helpful tips and recommendations for exploring the area.

The noise from the motorway. During the night the traffic gets light and you can have a good night rest.
