Amazing location and staff were so attentive and friendly. Very unique setting and rooms.

What an amazing place. The accommodation and grounds were stunning, with wonderful views across lake vembanad. The staff could not do any more to make you feel at home, and ensure you have a memorable stay at Ameya. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Everything is so sustainable but only disappointment was to see small plastic butters and jams.

View of lake from property is the only thing which was nice, property gardens looks maintained.

We are 2 couples with 3 toddlers 1. Services - Before reaching we got message from manager to confirm us dinner on phone by 6:30pm so that they will prepare it, they only want to serve us dinner just by 8 Pm, i suggest 9:30 so manager said, we should have dinner outside as they won't be served us, we were travelling from munnar with 3 toddlers we were late from traveling and don't want to have dinner by 7:30 and want to reach our hotel first to fresh up. The check in took forever and they put all the bags in reception area, later we pick our bags and went to our room. Food - Dinner- little to no flexibility we have Three 3 year old toddlers, we ask them to give us milk and chappati for kids, the chappati was very salty and kids drink cold milk, we asked some appetizers peanut chat which was made of raw peanuts instead of roast once, we did not finished it and other thing we ask for was fish fingers, when we eat it it was cold and not spiced properly, we manage our food from outside. Breakfast - we have opt for continental breakfast and dosas, they served us fruit plate and mix juice, I asked for watermelon juice for my son they refused to make and then they did not ask for what kind of eggs we want untill we ask them to make some omelettes, they have given us dosa instead of pancakes that they usually serve but dosas were thick no crunch, kids did not eat at all, sambhar was passable and chatney was ok. Food can be said mediocre at best. - Shabby rooms, smells, insects every where, spider webs, lizard and many more roaming around, one hornet is created house in chair in the porche. Toilet has very poor light. Staff: I found Mr Natrajan very rude, services is poor, property is not maintained properly. food is not good. No view is good without proper service when you have paid so much money. I have also notice on next night we have seen the manager and other staff till 10 pm in the reception area and attending some foreigners.

There are only 4 cottages here, 3 completely private and one "suite" attached to the lobby area. They prepare all the food at your request (extra charge). Food is really delicious and the food man is great! You really don't have a choice of any other food though since you're inside the gated property. The place is very tranquil and calm. Such a nice place to do nothing, swim around and relax. Loved it here. The pool was very great and so many places to sit around the property.

We stayed at the suite and we weren't aware that it would be attached to the "hub" where all the workers are and all the other guests may enter. The suite is upstairs and downstairs is the lobby area. It wasn't loud or annoying just not what I expected. Still an absolutely amazing suite.

It was a great pleasure staying in Amaya! The property is just gorgeous, the rooms are decorated with so much love and attention to details that it feels like home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We really loved our dinners served on the terrace. All the additional services that we booked we also great. The yoga teacher is extremely proficient and the massage therapists were good as well. First time being in Kerala and finding Ameya is pure luck! We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

This place is amazing. Its a little own oasis within beutiful small houses and a pool that is just stunning. The staff are soooo friendly and advice you in the right direction with the chioces for daytrips and backwater sightseeing. Honestly, the personalle seem to have very fun at thier jobs which also reflects in thier service. Also the bathroom in the hut without seaview is amazing. Loved it all!

We stayed at beginning of the off season with some rain, accommodation felt very damp and we had a lot of mosquitos which without nets on the beds (and no way of securing rooms so that they wouldn't enter due to several openings) caused us a lot of issues and a lack of sleep. Beds were uncomfortable. Appreciate that in better weather the experience may be nicer but for the time at which we visited it felt over priced and unenjoyable

The serenity and calmness of this place is something that everyone should witness. Their hospitality was top notch, they make sure you have the best stay and their food was scrumptious. Me and my husband really loved this place and we loved the pool as well. Will definitely come here again with our family and friends. This place is must to visit and stay.
