"A unique little place"

Stunning location, so quiet and tranquil right on the lake. The staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you, they can organise boat trips etc and had great recommendations. They only have space for 8 guests so it feels like a special retreat. Salt water pool was lovely and really private too. Would highly recommend.

"Excellent bungalow, excellent dinners and more than excellent staff"

We booked 3 days at Ameya and added an extra one. Amazing garden, top notch bungalow and great swimming pool overviewing the lake. 4 times upclass dinner served at our own bungalow and we once took the opportunity to join the chef delivering his masterpieces. Everything perfect because of Anish (always ready to explain Indian history and Kerala culture) and his staff constantly running the extra mile and then doing one more. Highly recommended!

"Magical and serene, really special"

This place is truly magical. It is a French families home rented out when they are not there. With serene private gardens and views to die for it is an amazing place to unwind. We watched the sun go down over the lake with the birds coming home to roost then got up at dawn to just watch the place come to life. With superb food and attentive staff this is a wonderful place to stay.

The views and friendly helpful staff were incredible.

Upon arrival the sheets and towels were stained and appeared to be unwashed. Didn’t feel like a clean room.

Wonderful resort, the seaview bungalow was definitely worth it, the private terrace and the meals served there were very nice and Anish and his team were very friendly and helpful!
