Location is nice with great views and sprawling property. Room was gorgeous, the whole property paid lots of attention to detail. Nice breakfast. Staff very friendly. Nice pool.

I assumed a lot of people were being nit-picky about the crows, but there really are a lot of crows. You will never experience 100% peacefulness because the crows are quite loud. One even jumped on our breakfast table which we were not thrilled about. Food was okay. PLEASE remember that if you have a driver that they will provide accommodations for them (it is now the law in Kerala); we had a little issue with our driver the first night but it was eventually resolved.

Nice grounds and fantastic lake views. The support staff were fantastic.

Quite pricey for a 3-4 star property. Felt a little too secluded.

There are no words to describe this property. A wholesome stay. The hosts were so welcoming. It was perfect, specially the food.

Everything was great.

Our room ((Shanti) had lovely view overlooking the pools, garden and the lake. It was very spacious.We really liked the veranda that projects out over the pond. The main building has a lovely open plan lounge. There is a yoga centre and a message facility. All the meals were very good and delivered to the Veranda.

The open air shower was not something we prefer but was ok. The toilet was remote from the main room and cumbersome to get to.

The views were stunning and enjoyed the massage and eating food brought to the veranda- staff were friendly and helpful

Laundry they turned my white suit to pink which was harrowing for me as I brought it in India and did my mothers last rites whilst in Delhi- I have sent email to owners about them replacing the damaged clothing as they can’t do anything for the hurt and pain caused to me by destroying a memory of my spiritual homage to my late mother. Tuktuk was suggested for day trip which was a mistake as it took longer and on the way back we had to stop 4 times as the radiator was over heating- the driver was lovely but as I knew i wouldn’t be able to get food at the venue late I had to get some food to take back and given the stop start journey back I was shattered the next day. Tuktuk is okay for short journey otherwise car is better plus they can park in the tourist spots.

Nothing, it was all perfect

Words cannot describe how wonderful my stay here was. The staff couldn’t have done more to look after me and make me feel at home. I spent my days swimming in the pool, doing yoga in the gardens, reading my book and completely switching off and relaxing. I took a tour to a nearby temple, a cooking class and 2 boat rides while I was there, all activities were well organised and very enjoyable. Every meal was delicious and although slightly pricier than local restaurants was still very affordable and value for money considering the location and personalisation. I wish I’d had more time to enjoy the Ayurvedic treatments. Ameya also helped with transfers to and from the property at very reasonable prices. As a solo female traveller I was worried I might feel a bit isolated or awkward but I immediately felt like one of the family. The place is really like a home from home and the rooms are spectacular. I felt like I experienced ‘how the other half live’ for a few days - I felt like a queen in my jungle palace being waited on hand and foot. Thoroughly recommend for a few days R&R, I stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer.

There are a lot of crows…nothing to be done and is the same in all of Kerala, but worth mentioning in case someone has a fear of birds!
