"Good location, 10 minutes or so walk from Halone-Yumoto train station and main bus stops."

Location.

Rather dated decor / facilities but well maintained and clean. Access to our part pf the hotel, at least, was restricted and by stairs only. Dismal ‘back yard’ outlook from room. Room 202.

Le lieu est très agréable et traditionnelle, la chambre est très spacieuse, le petit déjeuner est très bon. Le onsen pour femme comme pour homme est très bien.

Le seul petit bémol c’est d’être arrivé pour le petit déjeuner du matin un peu avant l’heure pour que dès l’ouverture on puisse le prendre et partir tôt en excursion. Rentrés les premiers on a été servi en dernier 25 minutes plus tard…

"Traditional, serene hotel, great to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of big city life."

Great onsen, very large room, quiet location next to the river. Absolutely gorgeous park/garden area.

Hard beds. Sliding doors would benefit from insect screens to avoid mosquitoes entering the room.
