Hotel Zarhal

Location is very good , staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean.

A fairly new small family hotel decorated in the local Oriental style in the middle of the old city. All main historical sights are within walking distance. A pretty good breakfast on the terrace with a nice view on the old city rooftops. The hotel is also pet-friendly so we were able to stay there with our dog, which was the main reason why we chose the hotel.

Our room was a bit small. No place for a large suitcase. The windows faced the interior of the hotel so there is no natural sun light and no fresh air in the room. But I guess this is a typical feature of the local houses to keep the heat away during the summer period.

Location was perfect. Literally a minute’s walk from the main sights. Breakfast was very good too, large variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, excellent local breads and local pastries, eggs made to order, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, etc

On day one we were given a basement room which had no ventilation, no hot water and was not very comfortable. We were shifted to a much better room the next day.

Beautiful comfortable rooms, I would say fairly new. Very close to all important attractions.

The breakfast needs a better selection of food. It was limited.

Hotel is close to old town and new hotel

noone speaks english.

Convenience for spending the night, good breakfast

You can't pay by card only cash. They don't speak English, only Russian.
