Savet Family Homestay & Tour

You will feel like you are in the jungle but with the comfort of a big bed and a nice bathroom!!! Savet is a great teacher! He will passionately explain about his culture also in an amazing english! He took us also to the rice fields and was an amazing tour guided! He took me and drop me off in a tuk tuk to the center everytime i wanted for free!! I definitely recommend to stay with Savet here!!

Top customer service, nice little hut, beautifully made breakfast, awesome people who CARE! The owner has great family and friends who also made my stay fantastic, trips to Sampov, ride on bamboo train, garden party with karaoke. If you are hungry, ask about MONA Samui Thai Food which is 3 minutes away by tuktuk, you will not regret

The fact that I couln't stay longer

The homestay exceeded our expectations! The owner drives and picks you up to/from the city centre throughout your stay. He speaks English fluently. He got us to connect with the locals: his family was visiting and we had a pleasant evening. We also got to experience the yearly local parade for the monks, something not a single travel guidebook will know about. The rooms are clean and the owner is always available if we needed something (information / laundry … ). Very good price/quality.

Savet and Ana were wonderful hosts. Ana warmly greeted us with cold water and Savet helped coordinate our pickup. He was very easy to communicate with and helpful. The bungalow house is well built with cool bamboo and a very nice bathroom. The wifi was really fast and good, which I did not expect. Breakfast was fresh and it was great getting to know more about the family.

This is a small paradise on earth run by honest, hard-working and kind people who truly care about you as a guest. They built the traditional Khmer guesthouse themselves with bamboo. It is surrounded by a tropical garden and has everything you need for a pleasant stay: a mosquito net, sockets in each corner (including next to the kingsize bed), multiple electric fans, a brand-new bathroom with a shower that produces hot water immediately (which is rare in Cambodia), and toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Furthermore, the WIFI was super fast! The host picks you up at a location of your choice and when you leave, he can take you to your preferred location. During my stay, he suggested an incredible restaurant that was surprisingly cheap for the quality of food, drove me there and picked me up. The highlight of my stay was the tour that the host offered. We drove to local villages that are rarely visited by tourists and took a ride on the famous bamboo train. It was an authentic and unforgettable experience. In short, I highly recommend Odambang Village Homestay. By staying here, you support a local family and you will create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
