A highlight of our time in Cambodia, Savet and his family provide a delightful environment, and a full service to travallers, including laundry on request, transport advice and arrangement, bespoke local tours, free rides in and out of Battambang town centre, local (non-touristy) restaurant recommendations and a delicious breakfast. Cottage is comfortable, clean, newly built and perfect.

It was a beautiful, quaint bungalow, a comfortable bed with all new bedding & new towels for the big bathroom. Savet & his family were kind & very welcoming & he arranged 2 great tours for me. One with him & the other with one of his tour guys, Sam. They were both so brilliant & knowledgable about the area & Cambodia’s history . I had the best time with them & would come back with any hesitation.

It was all great & exceeded my expectations.

The room was really beautiful, spacious and the bed was super comfortable (and had a mosquito net). No issues with anything and Savet was so so lovely and helpful with getting me into town and helping to book a tuktuk for a tour to see all of Battambang’s sites and also to bookthe boat ride to Siem Reap.

This was a lovely homestay. The hosts are amazing and kind people. The room itself was very unique and comfortable. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area (it even had a ceiling fan, and outlets for charging). They are happy to book day trips for you to the main tourist places in the area, and provide rides to and from town, which is located a short distance away. Breakfast was delicious, and Savet is happy to give you a tour of the village where he grew up, and share some of the local culture with you. This is a great place to stay, and to ensure that your tourism dollars will stay in the local community! (Note: if you arrive by bus or minivan they will pick you up in town for free, if you take the boat there is a $5 transport fee, but they will send someone to meet you, which is convenient if you don't want to bargain yourself with the tuktuk drivers :) )

The complimentary tuk tuk rides to and from town are not really optional. I was told by the owner that the area is not safe to walk at night, and I even seemed to cause some concern when I left walking one day in broad daylight. None of the other reviews that I read mentioned this. Of course the rides to and from town are free, and convenient, so do not let this deter you from booking, this really is a lovely place to stay! (I want to note that at no point did the area seem unsafe, and the owner said it was fine to walk around during the day).

The homestay in the countryside gave us unique experiences impossible to get while staying in a hotel in the city. Savet and his wife were very friendly and helpful.

We visited Battambang with my parents and had the best stay here. There are only 2 rooms, but set in a beautiful green garden in a lovely village just a stones throw from town. The rooms are finished to a high standard, lovely bathrooms with hot water, clean towels, a super comfy and large bed with a nice private outside seating area to enjoy your breakfast, we couldn't ask for more. The family are delightful and very helpful. Great base to explore the area or just relax. Bikes are available to explore the surrounding villages and countryside which we'd recommend. Will definitely return.

The hosts make the experience you feel like part of the family. It is about 3.5km from town and easy to get a Tuk Tuk.

It was exactly like the images, a small welcoming homestay. Savet is proud of his village and a great guide.

A very nice experience to stay on the land of a local family. The cabins are cute and clean and have everything you need. Savet speaks very good English and explains a lot about the history and the way of living in Cambodia. We liked the cycletour in Odambang Village and the tour to the killing Caves and Batcaves with Savet. Savet can arrange a pick up or drop off in the city whenever you like
