Savet Family Homestay & Tour

Such a great stay! You're treated with such kindness, the accommodations are so comfortable, and I highly, highly recommend doing the bike tour around the village. Thank you Savet and Anna for everything!!

Savet is the ultimate gracious host! He is friendly, conscientious, and very helpful, and he speaks excellent English! He arranged tuk tuk pickup from the bus station, picked me up from town after a massage, organised tuk tuk tours, and really treated me a family member. I can't say enough nice things about the whole family. The cabins are cute, bamboo huts with full private tiled bathroom with flushing toilet and gas hot water. Overhead fans in the room and on the veranda, plus a pedestal fan that was perfectly adequate to keep me cool. Breakfast was a tasty omelette, with fresh fruit from the garden. I highly recommend supporting this beautiful family by staying on their property. Be sure to check out Mona Samui Restaurant nearby for some of the freshest, tastiest and cheapest food I've eaten in Cambodia! Bed was perfect and firm, internet was excellent.

Be prepared for mosquito's, but the bed net is enormous and perfectly adequate. Also, I was there during the monsoons.

Loved our stay here! Savet was an exceptional host, the room and bathroom were amazing - fans in the room to help keep cool and a mosquito net that worked perfectly for keeping any bugs at bay! (Didn't notice them at night though, even being there in the rainy season). Would 100% recommend staying here. Savet was also incredibly generous and ensured we could get around, often giving us a lift in his Tuktuk. He also also picked us up when we arrived, and dropped us off to the bus station when we left.

A very nice bungalow with a large table outside to eat and work, with fans inside and outside which is very refreshing. The owner is always available to take you anywhere in the tuk tuk and you can see the main attractions with him. The breakfast is also very good, with coffee, eggs and fresh fruit. Overall, it was the best place I have stayed in terms of value for money.

A comfortable, tranquil stay. The room was large with a great shower and bathroom. The outside patio was fantastic to relax in. We really enjoyed the village bike tour with Savet. He was generous and dropped us to and from the city when we needed. The value for money is insane, I truely recommend this homestay to anyone who is looking to experience local life and immerse yourself into Cambodian culture. Savet’s driver was an engaging and passionate tour guide, he shared with us his life story and we were truely touched by his openness and intellect.

I would highly recommend this homestay. A small distance from the main centre, you gain in a tranquil environment. The host picked me up from my bus on arrival. Small gestures such as cold water and a fruit plate was welcomed and driving us into town for dinner was a kind gesture. The cabin was spacious, clean and had thoughtful extras such as toothbrush and paste. The bed was large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this home stay for a great experience in Battambang.

Absolutely nothing

Savet was super informative about the country and so helpful with everything. He organised a tour with his friend and it was amazing !!! He was also very kind about dropping us to a restaurant and also to our bus when leaving. Breakfast including fruit from his garden was delicious.
