Immersed in nature, great base for exploring

Wonderful peaceful location with amazing views, but also not too far from the beach. Food was excellent as were the staff. The pool area is beautiful, with fantastic views although due to the time of year the pool was a little chilly. Super comfortable beds and lovely shower. We walked to the waterfall which was so nice and planned to use the e bikes too buy unfortunately only one was available.

Our chalet (number 10) was a little chilly and damp I think this is because of its position on the grounds with a super treetop view but does not get any sun. Also the sofa wasn’t particularly comfortable. We could have done with a torch in the room for the walk up to the restaurant, also an umbrella.

Everything

It was an amazing experience staying in the mountains surrounded by tropical jungle. We were very kindly upgraded to an enormous suite with an incredible bathroom, which was a lovely treat for our honeymoon. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with excellent vegan options and the views were great. The staff were lovely and gave us helpful recommendations.

Not their fault but the mosquitoes were very persistent, we suggest bringing Deet and using liberally! It meant we used the swimming pool area less than we expected. We thought the food in the restaurant was on the expensive side once you add on the tax. We were still happy with our stay.

Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Menschen. Das riesige Gelände mit den vielen schönen Pflanzen ist schon sehr besonders. Unser Bungalow war riesengroß und top sauber. In machen Kommentaren wurde die Anfahrt als schwierig empfunden, davon sollte man sich nicht abschrecken lassen - ist eine ganz normale kurze Schotterpiste die mit jedem normalen PKW gut funktioniert. Der Poolbereich ist phantastisch. Leider fanden wir das Essen im Restaurant nicht so klasse und auch das Frühstück geht sicherlich noch etwas liebevoller - daher der kleine Punktabzug - aber das ist natürlich sehr subjektiv.

Aan een stuk door blaffende honden tot 22.30 uur van eigenaar. Matras oud en in 1 geul in het midden. Beschimmelde badkamer.
