The property has real historical value and is a great place for photos. The room with the indoor onsen was excellent, and the open-air public onsen was wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly.

The room without an onsen had some bugs, so better renovation and bug prevention in the older rooms would help. The food was traditional, wonderful, and a true taste of Japan. However, it was not very easy for children to enjoy because of the umeboshi-like flavors, the lack of simple fresh beef or pork slices, and no cheese. The staff kindly brought extra white rice for our child when we asked, which helped a lot with the small amount of beef and pork.

スタッフ全ての方がすれ違うたびに挨拶頂き皆さんが気を遣って頂き、非常に旅行になりました。 また温泉も3ヶ所ありそれぞれ違った楽しみ方ができました。

食事もお風呂もラウンジのサービスも接客ももちろんよかったですが、本館の建物が素晴らしく無料の歴史ツアーも当時の人々の湯治の様子が目に浮かぶようで本当によかったです。お部屋の露天風呂もかけ流しの温泉で家族で入れる大きさだったので時間を気にせず入れましたし、お布団、ベッドの質も高くよく眠れました。1泊ではもったいなかった！また是非宿泊したいと思います。

食事は美味しく、量も過剰ではなく、品数が多くて楽しめた。内容の説明も丁重にしてもらえた。 部屋は広く、清潔だった。 それなりの金額を支払っているので期待値も高いが、それに十分見合う内容だと思った。 これで景観が良ければ申し分ないが、立地が谷間なのでそこは致し方無いところ。
