No hot water in attached room .Fully loaded with mosquitoes.

This resort is outside Badami town and inside a village. Surrounded by farms this is the best place to stay if you are in Badami. The main tourist attraction, Badami Cave temple is 5 km away from this place. The resort has cottages and rooms. Spacious rooms and the service staff is good. Swimming pool and few recreation items such as carrom chess are available. Badami town is busy and dusty and considering these, this resort is located at a pristine place.

The restaurant and the chef - When we visited there was a group checkin. One evening we went there for dinner and asked for al carte menu which they refused. Even they said no for sandwich and forced us to opt for Buffet dinner. We did complain to the GM and he did react quicky and suddenly chef was behind us to prepare something and give to us. But we refused. The serving staff were very good, they wanted to help us but Chef was adamant. So was one lady who is there at the restaurant who was refusing to anything that we ask for. But the service boys, Pradeep, Tiwari and few other boys were really good and active. As this place is away from town and there are no eatery around, resort should not misuse these offer what customer wants in food. We were totally disappointed by restaurant staff, esp the Chef and this was one big negative. Though food served was good. One more negative thing is no variety in break fast spread. Everyday items remained same.

Room finishing and overall room experience does not justify the exorbitant price paid There was a Drainage water leaking in front of room and staff did not change the room despite of complaints. Only one room key is provided and couldn’t get replacement No mobile reception and their slow Wi-Fi speed and intermittent dropping gave me last century dial-up internet nostalgia 😳. No division between toilet and bathroom the entire bathroom wet after shower. No toiletries provided apart from hand wash and shower Gel. No default hot water. Geaser needed to switch on. Even then no hot water. No water pressure in the shower. Substandard indoor games with chess boards,. Table tennis rackets broken.

The breakfast was good. The restaurant staff is well trained and courteous. Rooms are comfortable.

Bathrooms are old style. Lay out is not designed properly for keeping it dry throughout the day. Toiletries were sub standard

Excellent Ambience, staff

Best location for stay in Badami, absolutely quiet, only crickets during the night, beautiful vegetation and surroundings. Comfortable, spacious and very clean cottage, huge bathroom. Special thanks to housekeeping team ( Ganesh, Praveen and Hassan). We would come again anytime to this well maintained resort. Also thanks to the management.
